Wharton County ELECTION RETURNS
Incumbent Sheriff Shannon Srubar wins another term in office beating Ben Guanajuato 11,600 to 4,429.
In the Louise ISD races, three of four incumbents running for five positions collected another term:
-- Position 2: Chad Hajovsky (i) 618, Christopher Faas 296 and Elisa Garcia 127.
--Position 3: Blake Roehl (i) 690, Fred Ochoa Sr. 335.
--Position 5: Gary Yackel 585, Amanda Cox (i) 461.
--Position 6: Stephen Lutringer (i) 627, Tim Garcia 407.
--Position 7: Tori Koudela 640, Linda Alderson 409.
City of East Bernard:
For sales tax for street repairs 1,049, Against 202.

There is still time to vote! Election polls are open until 7 p.m. today!
Anyone wanting to cast a ballot will need to bring a photo ID with them to the poll.
Voters can cast a ballot at any of the following sites:

West Wharton County
• El Campo Library – Mayors Room, 200 W. Church.
• El Campo Civic Center - Myatt Room, 2350 N Mechanic.
• St. Robert’s Parish Hall, 512 Tegner in El Campo.
• Precinct 3 Justice of the Peace Courtroom, 340 W. North in Louise.

East Wharton County
• Wharton Civic Center – Duncan Auditorium, 1924 N. Fulton in Wharton.
• Wharton Museum. 3615 N. Richmond Road in Wharton.
• St. Joseph Parish Hall, 106 Lalla Rookh in Boling
• East Bernard Library, 746 Clubside.
