When Are The Best Times For Google Posts?

This is a commonly asked question and the answer can vary depending on the type of business, season, and times. Research indicates that the best times are generally between 9:00am and 11:00 am, however the best engagement times are between 9:00 am and 3:00 pm weekdays. This of course varies depending on the business.

Research has also indicated that the best days to post are generally Thursdays and Fridays. Saturdays also ranks well as that is when people have time to sit at home and do some searching. Are Your Clients’ Google Business Profiles Protected From Spammers?

While we are on the subject of managing a Google Business Profile, have you noticed an increase in others trying to assume ownership of your clients’ GBPs? Several of our partners have contacted us regarding this issue.

This seems to happen more often to the businesses that are not regularly updating and monitoring their GBP, or have not verified their GBP. You must ensure that the email address you use to manage your clients’ GBPs is being monitored.

Google My Business is now Google Business Profile.

Many who rely on their mobile device to manage their Google My Business (GMB) listing via the GMB app will find that Google has now withdrawn the app as of July 2022. Google has now rebranded from GMB (Google My Business) to GBP (Google Business Profile).

So how will this affect mobile users? Google transitioned to the Google Maps App which still enables you to manage your listing as well as Google Search. You can still update your listing, make posts, and reach out to Clients/Customers from these platforms.

There are absolutely no changes as to how customers/clients can view and interact with your GBP.

What to do moving forward? While most Android devices already have Google Maps installed, some do not. If you haven’t already downloaded the Google Maps App, you will need to do so. You can get the app from Google Play or any other app store.

Is Your Google Listing Verified?

There are some serious challenges than can result from not verifying your listing.

1. Some information changes will not be able to be made.

2. More recently established listings will not appear in search or maps.
