Radar is showing very light snow moving through the area as of 1 p.m. Wednesday. However, it isn’t reaching the ground due to dry air at the surface.

Isolated snow showers are possible through the afternoon and evening, but most areas should stay dry. Some may see a few snowflakes, but no impacts are expected.

Snow flurries are possible Wednesday afternoon across the area. If a heavier band moves through your area, you could see a dusting.

We’re keeping an eye on a weak system that could bring light precipitation to the region Saturday night.

While the system isn’t strong, any precipitation could cause problems if temperatures drop below freezing. There’s also a possibility the system remains too weak to produce precipitation. We wanted to give you a heads up to stay weather aware starting around sunset.

The exact precipitation type is still uncertain, but the most likely scenario is a mix of rain, freezing rain, and snow. With surface temperatures near freezing, areas below 32° could experience freezing rain and ice accumulations.
