Last night Ryan Andrews returned to Trivia at Luk’s after being a victim of a hit and run pedestrian vs a speeding car resulting in a Life Flight and suffering multiple injuries and surgeries to follow. They have since located the driver and he is awaiting trial. While Ryan was on the mend I started a little collection on our Trivia and Singo nights @ Luk’s. Well the Trivia-Singo/Luk’s family rose to the occasion in three weeks time players and staff dropped off money in a pitcher placed on my table during our weekly trivia and Singo events. With The help of the Luk’s community, we raised $600 in cash and the owners of Luk’s,
Jason and Christine, matched that amount allowing us to present Ryan with a total of $1200 to help with his loss of income while healing from his injuries and corrective surgery. He had no idea what was planned for him that evening as you will see in his reaction!!
I would like to say Thank you to everyone that gave what they could. This is one of those moments that makes me glad I chose the profession that I have for over 4 decades. This is a perfect example of people coming together for a great cause. From the owners, Staff and customers of Luk’s and all of us at my business, Perfect Mix Event Services, we are glad Ryan had an Angel on his shoulders that day and is still with us!!
