We often talk about Pickett's Cafeteria during our Westfield Ghost Walks. Well here they are. Mary & Bernie Pickett!

Throwback Thursday: (Since I missed Wednesday). Thank you Eric Barker for the wonderful donation of pictures. It sounds like there will be more to come, but I thought I post this one first. 2025.1.1: Mary and Bernie Pickett - many of you that have been here in Westfield for a long time will know them. Others will just know the name of Pickett's Cafeteria that was on the corner of SR32 and Union - the "Green" building, that is moved back a bit now and on top of concrete blocks to be relocated.

"The Picketts, Mary and Bernard, behind the counter at the cafeteria circa 1962. The counter was removed a couple of years later when they remodeled, installing a steam table and adding a second dining room.

We are so glad to see City of Noblesville, Ind. and the Reimagine Pleasant Street project is showcasing history and especially Reverend Barney Stone. He was such an important member of the community and we do mention him briefly during our Noblesville Ghost Walk (no known hauntings of him, just how important he was to the community.)
