This album was a lot of fun showcasing Dennis’s arrangements of some of his favorite tunes. While we recorded 29 songs total (Vol 2 set for a future release), I’m a bit partial to the opening track as I played guitars and drums on it. Available everywhere you stream, and physical copies available through 75ORLESS Records.

While working on a new & epic 20-track album, the Pajama Slave Dancers crew also had time to do a track for this cool compilation on Stubborn Records. Check out the second track, “Chief Inspector,” which was learned, rehearsed and recorded in a frenzied evening session full of good beer and great confusion.

Tracking group vocals with the legendary AKG 414 BULS with brass capsule. This particular one is a piece of Zing/Mainline history, used on group vox for almost every band that’s walked through the doors (as well as countless other applications).

and would’ve sang into this mic in 2005 on The Skeptics album “Hearts & Spades.” 18 years later, we’re still at it, and so is the 414.

Freshly back from the tech bench and full of all that 1968 Bandmaster goodness (and now without the dropouts!). Full of sparkly tones, fat cleans, and of course… that classic smell. They should make a “Vintage Fender Tube Amp” candle.

Creating audio bricks- dynamically of course. Finished mastering CD #2 for punk legend Dennis Most and his 2-volume “If I Wrote ‘Em” project. 29 songs tracked, mixed and mastered here of some of his favorite cover tunes from the 60’s and 70’s.

Had a great session this past weekend when the Pajama Slave Dancers crew brought in the legendary John Allen from Big Bad Bo****ks to play some squeeze box and sing a sea shanty. I think we recorded it, but my memory is about as clear as the last photo.
