🥑 Have you tried this Filipino dessert? 🥑🇵🇭 Avocado + Ice + condensed milk, I was glad this was trending on tiktok because I ate this a lot growing up!
I was talking about this Filipino dessert with my friend and sent ’s tiktok for this dessert. He then went on and said “Are you supposed to blend the ice beforehand? I’d like to blend it, I think there’s room for changes”
But then I said NO, you gotta try it like this for culture. So I then explained why this is a Filipino dessert just the way it is, it’s because a blender is not in every Filipino homes kitchen or at least it wasn’t. Like not everyone has a blender or a refrigerator at home. So what really makes this a Filipino dessert is the ✨struggle✨ like yea this is really good blended too, essentially an avocado smoothie/milkshake.
But also what’s up with everyone just mushing avocados, I used to eat quarter slices of avocado like apple slices and I would dip them in sugar! Avocado has an amazing texture and bounce when you bite it, and you lose on that when you blend it!
Happy Filipino heritage month and really celebrate how far we’ve come and obviously the Filipino struggle is a big part of our culture and heritage, and we embrace it 🤗🇵🇭

Who wants a story time?
So came here 3 or 4 years ago and it was trash, but you know people and places change so wanted to give it a second chance so we tried it again.
So I made a reservation the the night before for 7:30, we arrived there 7:30 and they said we don’t have a reservation for Tim and I’m like what do you mean I literally called last night, and the guy at front said we called you this morning to confirm and I didn’t answer the call. Well first of all as business get your caller id on like why would I pick up a call from a random number AND MOST IMPORTANTLY I literally called to make the reservation not even 24 hours ago, why do you need a confirmation, thirdly even if I didn’t confirm don’t you have 15 min grace period then you cancel the reservation for no show? And lastly do you know who I am I’m literally timeatstheworld???? Ok I didn’t say the last part, but I kinda went off on the guy and they said ok just give us 5-10 min and we’ll get a table ready for you. Ok great thanks, then we sat and ate and it was all good, and I’m not hangry anymore lol
Food has improved for sure, it’s pretty good but there’s some dishes gave me the ick like the beef tataki, like I’m sorry I don’t we ordered a salad, like why, same with the tacos like why is there a salad on this taco like stop. Overall 7.6/10

Yesterday’s was so good👨🏽‍🍳💋
The steak frites and tartare were amazing, mushroom tartine was really good especially the first bite. My least favourite were the escargot, I think I it needed more herbs or garlic. I think overall 8.9/10 😊
