@aioli_bodega opened when @abellarbisalah was just 9 years old. It’s his family’s restaurant; He and his father Chef Reda are proud to bring authentic Spanish flavors to our region, especially with their diverse selections of paella.
#Paella is rice in a frying pan mixed with whatever you have on hand, which varies region to region. Our favorite quote about #rice comes from Aziz in this video, when he calls each grain a “little ball of flavor,” and he’s not wrong. This paella packs a serious punch.

Chef @mulvaneyinsac pioneered the @sacfarm2fork movement in #Sacramento over a decade ago. Celebrating every year on the #TowerBridge is significant, because it is the gateway that connects Sacramento and Yolo counties - the urban with the rural, the chefs with the farmers. And #rice, just like every other ingredient, tastes better when it’s fresher. Local and fresh rice retains it’s earthiness, and a little bit more moisture which gives it more fluffiness. That really came through in this pork fried rice that chef quickly whipped together for us.

Chef @chefchrisbarnum admitted that he wouldn’t make a very good employee because he likes doing things his own way, so he opened @eatatlocalis, where he can craft the dishes he wants to make based on his personal experiences around the world.
