These two are the textbook example of a couple that seems to always be doing "just fine" as long as they're together. The whole day was flawless because of this (along with their great planning and the amazing team of hand-picked vendors they had on board). Needless to say, it felt really special being front row all day, witnessing these two just being present with each other.

From day one when we met them for their engagement up at Shaver Lake their chemistry and devotion to each other was undeniable. On the wedding day, any time we gave Steven options for different photos, he'd ask us "What does Olivia want?" And not because he didn't have an answer for us, but because he genuinely just wants to do right by Olivia. Everything he did made it known that her well-being was his first priority. And seeing Olivia sending this love and respect right back at him made it all just feel so real and inspiring for us.

Olivia, Steven- thank you for letting us celebrate your love with you first at Shaver Lake and then again in Mammoth Lakes for your beautiful wedding. We are beside ourselves with the captures we came away with, thanks to the beauty of your locations and, more importantly, the authenticity of your love. You two are treasures, and we're so glad you found each other. Congratulations, and enjoy the journey.

Elopements hold a very special place in our hearts. All weddings are special of course, but elopements have an air of vulnerability to them. A feeling of intimacy and authenticity that is hard-earned for most. We almost feel like we’re “getting away with something” when we’re capturing an elopement. Like, are they really letting us peer in on these incredible, private moments? Needless to say, we are eternally grateful for every elopement we’ve been part of, and we’re so elated at the thought of more. A heartfelt thank you to all of our elopement couples over the years- like Sarah & Allen. xo

Because we started this new weddings-focused account, we wanted to share this elopement from our archives because it still holds such a special place in our hearts. We flew to Colorado for this beautiful day. After saying "I do," Becca hopped into the river in her first wedding dress, before changing into her second. We then all got ice cream and headed to Red Rocks where we're going to pretend that Becca did not step on a fire ant hill. Honestly though, she was such a trooper and laughed it off as we beat a few ants out of her dress. To end the evening, Becca and Mike then switched into their Renaissance cosplay and whisked us away to Rivendell for a dream shoot in the mountains.

Originally from Colorado, Ciara and Jeff have always loved the outdoors and traveling. They decided to head out to Washington in their RV with their two dogs, and pick their dream locations for their elopment. We started with their first look at their Airbnb on Lake Sutherland, then wandered through the jungles at Madison Falls, and ended with their vows on Rialto Beach. Thanks for having us along for the adventures! 🖤
