Special announcement about a special event on Saturday Night, Feb 22nd at Cre8tive Con in Chicago. Look forward to seeing everyone there.
Great rescue, a driver was traveling when the weather was poor and roadways were beginning to flood. The driver hit a large puddle of water and lost control of the vehicle, winding up in a flooded creek. The vehicle became inoperable, including the door locks and windows. The driver was trapped inside but was able to call 911 for assistance. Within minutes, a Marin County Sheriff’s Office Deputy arrived on scene and recognizing the severity of the incident, jumped into the water to rescue the driver.
Water had overtaken most of the vehicle, and the driver’s compartment was quickly filling with water. Quick action to break out the rear window allowed the Deputy to contact the driver and create an escape route. After rescuing the driver form the vehicle, and getting her to safety on the roadway, the vehicle had been completely overtaken by the rushing creek.
Great job by Volusia Sheriff's Office, rescuing a boater that was having a medical emergency. Job well done by all. #podcast #radio #USA
What do you think of the actions by these members of the Tampa Police Department?
On February 1, 2025, a 26-year-old man was pinned beneath his car while performing maintenance. They worked together to lift the car off him and provide critical life-saving care. I say great job by the Tampa Police Department . #podcast #radio #police
DEPUTIES SAVE PEOPLE AND DOGS DURING FIRE. @Yavapai County Sheriff's Office's deputies responded to a fire and began to make sure the homeowner was safe. The deputies were also informed that at least one dog was in a kennel against the back of the building. The deputies got to the back of the building and noticed that the fire was burning near the dog. They rushed with bolt cutters and were able to save the dog from any fire danger. Deputies went to surrounding homes to inform any residents inside to evacuate. No dogs or people were hurt. Well done.

Deputy Christopher Murphy was conducting patrol when he observed a male, later identified standing next to a bicycle on the ground. Deputy Murphy attempted contact with McDermott, but McDermott picked up the bike and began to ride away. Deputy Murphy activated his emergency lights and attempted a traffic stop on the suspect, who appeared to comply, slowing down enough for the Deputy to stop and exit his car, only to then pedal quickly away.
Deputy Murphy got back into his patrol vehicle and attempted to catch up with the suspect. As the Deputy turned onto another street, he observed the suspect pulling a firearm out of his pants. Deputy Murphy, fearing that the suspect would engage him with the firearm, the Deputy struck the suspect with his vehicle, ejecting him from the bicycle and causing him to drop the firearm. Deputy Murphy then secured the suspect without further incident with the assistance of a back up Deputy. A 9-millimeter firearm was recovered near the suspect, who was found wearing a holster for the weapon.
The suspect was arrested. I say Great job by Deputy Murphy.

Great job by Volusia Sheriff's Office and other Law Enforcement Agencies. This is body camera footage from a Thanksgiving Day incident at Condominiums in Ormond-by-the-Sea. After the shooter opened fire at neighbors’ homes and at responding deputies, these deputies made every effort to convince him to surrender peacefully.
Ultimately, a VSO SWAT sniper fired the round that ended the threat. The shooter was a military veteran, a convicted felon out of his home state of Connecticut, and the subject of a pending ex parte order in Volusia County due to a series of extreme mental health episodes that included delusions, hallucinations, manic behavior, and threats to his wife’s and daughter’s lives. Following the incident, two Thompson submachine guns, a .45 caliber handgun and a 12-gauge shotgun were recovered from inside his condominium. Sorry for everyone that had to go through this, they did everything they could to end it peacefully.
