It was a pleasure supporting a marketing agency based out of Boston on this project. We helped to produce a 15-second national tv spot for Stanton Optical. More to come!

July 2021 is when we filmed this social media for Sokoloff & Weinstein. Shot on the RED Komodo 6K w/Zeiss CP.3’s.
An extremely run-and-gun shoot with mainly a 3-person crew. We had several interviews to film and various locations between Royal Palm & Down town West Palm Beach all within 10-hours. We also had to time the weather that day since for four hours out the day it was raining continuously. With that known we scheduled the shoot to deal with all interior related work first.
Always check the weather the day before a shoot, and plan accordingly for exteriors based on the position of the sun. Some feel lucky with getting overcast exterior shooting, but in this case we didn’t since the look was more contrasty for the majority of the video. But you work with what you’re given when you only have one day to shoot and unpredictable weather.

Sometimes sticking to the script is exactly what you need to do. However, we do pride ourselves in improvisation where needed. A planned approach gives you general guidance in where to go next, but it doesn’t mean it’s the right way.
We produce based on intuition. In the moment, the situation way can change. Understanding and recognizing that the context of what’s going is what really matters.

This is Sage. Sage is a beast. Why?Sage does everything under the sun. A multi-faceted filmmaker. A professional camera assistant/tech & swing (grip& electrical).
Here’s in his natural habitat. In this photo, Sage was asked to move the monitor where our director could see it. Well, Sage did more than move it. Sage swiftly snatched it off the beefy baby stand and lifted it over his head with his god-like filmmaker strength.
With careful placement, a firm grip, and a determined expression, Sage allowed our director to see the shot from a difficult angle. Bravo , bravo.
Is your assistant a Sage? If not, then why not? If your assistant, grip, or camera tech isn’t “Saging” then fire them immediately and have Sage take all their positions.

On location music video shoot for . Shooting with the RED Dragon X 6K with Zeiss CP.3 lenses outfitted with wiresss TX & RX. Our tubes were in a 4 Bank shell keying through an artificial silk. Out of frame we had an .lighting Aputure 120D as a backlight. We created a negative fill with two 4x4 floppies as well.
