I’ve been asked questions on how to stop emotionally eating and to tell you the truth, there’s really no perfect formula for that. Sometimes you’ll be tired of your own shortcomings and role in it so you decide to make the change. Me making a change was sticking to Afiya. Even on the weeks I’m not on the meal plan, I try my best to portion control and not eat junk food. It’s very possible. If I can do it. You can too.

*Weight Updates*
Today was the day I weighed myself. Still very proud of my progress but learning a lot about where I might have gone wrong & how I can be better for the next time. Every week is a learning lesson. It’s a chance to learn from your previous mistakes, do better & reap the benefits of working hard. I’ll be traveling this weekend so I’ll be starting my Week 4 on Monday 🎉

End of week 1 with Afiya with Dr. Lebo
I’ve officially lost 5.5 pounds just this week. This took a lot of mental strength but I’m so glad to be here today. Thank you for all the new followers excited to go on this journey with me.

Day 1 is officially completed with Dr. Lebo! Disclaimer : please excuse my pronunciation of these Tswana dishes 😭 The first day is always going to be the toughest but im so proud of myself for sticking to it. One thing that I love about her program is that it really takes me out of my comfort zone and allows me to try foods I would’ve never thought of trying. The menu is on point and I genuinely look forward to cooking my next meal. Already prepared for day 2 💪🏾
Super excited to be on the world renounced crutch diet that all of Botswana is raging about. Due to the holiday, I will be starting my journey today & getting things in motion. I would be lying if I said I wasn’t a little stressed bc I always ate so freely. The only restriction I had was meat for a few years but now my body is very different, I have different priorities & very different goals. For a long time I’ve noticed I’ve been picking up weight but I didn’t really know how to control it through my eating. It’s important to recognize where the problem lies then immediately take action because you will end up in the same cycle & never see results. I was tired of not seeing the results that I put in the gym so we are deciding to take action. My eating habits counteracted all of my efforts in the gym & I deserve to live in a healthy body. Thank you Dr Lebo and I’m beyond excited for my new journey!!
