I love proposals. This one was especially romantic. La Vie En Rose playing softly in the back, smiles that do not tire and tears that cannot be held back. The emotion is real.
What I love the most is the ask - to be faithful and each otherās till the end. Itās the beginnings of a lifetime of love and happiness.

Sometimes you just got to take that small next step.
This is what I keep telling myself. ^^
Becoming a wife, a homeowner, a momma to a fur baby, and a full time photographer all in 9 months is the best thing that has ever happened to me but a lot of responsibility.
Every now and again I would begin to focus on all my short comings, the never ending to-dos, especially when I walk into my garage, haha!
But thankfully, this has been a season of freedom. Freedom to fail and learn a better way. Freedom to be with the ones I love. Freedom to figure out my dreams and goals.
What matters the most is the person we are becoming.
Two weeks ago I sat through a message at , the speaker asked this question and it is still ringing loud in my ears today: āDid you learn how to love?ā
At the end of my life, when I am face to face with my Creator that is all I want to be able to say. I learned how to love sincerely, fully, with grace and mercy, with care, patience and kindness.
Because I just took it one step at a time and became a child again.

Today was magical - kinda like this sunrise!
Christmas tree is up, cinnamon pine cones are all around the house, and joy is filling our home more and more each day.
So grateful for these days. Sometimes I wish I could just pause time, but who says the future isnāt better? It probably will be, I just canāt imagine a better time than this.
Gio and I drove to Miami today to visit our family and of course our Kai baby! I love working from here, it makes me feel like a little girl again. My dad walks around and looks over my shoulder every five minutes, stops and gives me compliment on the photos Iām editing or to check if I need something. I love him so much!
While I finish up working for the day Gio took Kai for a walk - their spending some father/daughter time haha!
As I sit here working today, I canāt help but be so grateful for Godās provision. I remember a time when I use to dream of running my own business and working with the couples I am now working with! My reality is better than I couldāve ever imagined.
I owe it all to God, for His constant strength and the doors He has opened! My wonderful husband that encourages me every step of the way, my amazing family and friends that have supported along the way! Last but not least my mentors ! I have learned so much from these artist, their education and insight has guided me so much!
Excited for what the future holds and for all these couples that either about to start a marriage or have just begun! It is a beautiful journey!
Reflecting today on all that has happened this year. Started a marriage, started and ended multiple jobs, then finally started a business, started two bible studies that are literally the highlight of my week, started a family (with our little fur baby Kai), and now in exactly a month, Gio and I will be starting to build a home together. We bought a townhome and October 21st is our closing date!
So many beginnings and endings.
And I must say itās been more than I couldāve ever imagined (in the best way possible).
Starting things is usually nerve wracking for me, it makes me play āthe what ifā game in my head.
But God has been teaching me the beautiful gift of surrender and reliance. That I donāt have to be afraid because He is with me, and I can depend on Him. And boy has he blown me away. The life I have now I owe it all to Christ.
When I doubt I have a page that has these verses written down in a journal to remember the truth -
āsurely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life and I shall dwell in the house of the Lord forever.ā -Psalm 23:6
āAnd we know that for those who love God all things work together for good, for those who are called according to his purposes.ā -Romans 8:28
ānow to Him who is able to do far more abundantly than all that we ask or think, according to the power at work within us.ā -Ephesians 3:20

Last Friday I had the privilege of shooting a proposal at the Jupiter lighthouse. This sweet couple met across the water at square grouper!
The emotion as she says yes is amazing! Smiling, crying, laughing - all of the above.

Right around this time last year Gio proposed to me... itās surreal to think itās going to be 5 months of marriage in two days!
If you know me, you know I love watching the airport lights twinkle. Itās been my thing since I was a little girl.
On Gio and Iās first date he took me to the airport lights, blasted the song āMore Than Wordsā from his forerunner speakers and asked me to slow dance under the airport lights.
So romantic, I know! š
Such a simple but grand gesture I forever hold close to my heart.
In these 5 months of marriage Iāve constantly thought about how I can show Gio I love him more and more each day. I want him to always have constant reminders and quick to recall memories of me serving and loving him.

Nick and Rachel are getting married in 20 days!! Iām so excited for these two - your love for one another radiates and your laugh Rachel is contagious!
Donāt let this time pass you by without being still and realizing the beauty that is all around you. This is not just for people getting married. But for all of us, as weāre all headed somewhere. Whether itās to a new job, or laying in bed waiting for your husband to get home, or getting rid of debt, or helping your little sister with her first job application, or calling your uncle, or making your mom laugh or meeting your sisterās new boyfriend, or thinking about your best friendās birthday, or missing your dad, or thinking about when will we finally go on that camping trip (you know who you are haha) or having long deep convos with your cousin (they could go on forever if we let them).
You get it, thereās so much and it all goes so fast, so be still. And count your blessings, really count them. Because you donāt want to waste time not truly seeing.
God thank you for this journey.
The reading of vows is my favorite component of a ceremony, it always gets me! It doesnāt matter if I know you closely or your a complete stranger. Thereās something so definitive about that moment, where you vow your life to the other person forever. For me it was the first tangible reality of us becoming one.
How many of you memorized your vows? I didnāt intentionally memorize them but I rewrote them so many times that they naturally became ingrained in me.
Every time I would sit down to write my vows I could only get through one sentence before I would begin to cry.
The night before the wedding I went to bed at 2 am piecing together all the sentences I had written throughout our 7 months of engagement and 3 years of dating. .zerep was sleeping on the bed right next to me.
Guys Iām not recommending my crazy ways at all, in fact donāt do what I did lol! Get it done. But what I am saying is put a lot of thought into the declarations you are committing too for the rest of your life.
Our vow reading was one of my favorite memories of our wedding (probably my favorite! Gio and I refer back to it often!
There will be a video in the foreseeable future that will contain our precious vows in them. I donāt know when but it will happen lol
If you are married I would urge you to grab a cup of coffee or a glass of wine and read your vows with your spouse, itās such a sweet time of remembrance and reorientation!
If your engaged get to writing! If you are doing traditional vows ask the coordinator/pastor what are they going to say and ask you to repeat!
If your single get ready because itāll come sooner than you think, and you will probably leave it for 2 am on your wedding night lol! But in all seriousness, itās never too early to start because itās not just about saying your vows itās about being them. You can start writing and becoming the person you want to be for that future spouse!
Okay! This one was a long one! But with reason - these things are important to talk about!

Wedding dresses are a masterpiece. It is hard to find an ugly wedding dress or an ugly bride in my opinion. I remember when I was choosing my dress, I was so scared I was going to choose the wrong one and after I bought mine I had regrets. Itās normal I think.
Three things that help find your perfect dress.
1. Dress for the occasion. Donāt buy a ball gown wedding dress for a farmy barn wedding in my opinion, it doesnāt match and you will be so uncomfortable and hot the whole day and night.
2. Stay within your budget. There are so many ways to save on your dream wedding dress, LOOK FOR TRUNK SHOWS! I got my dress more than 50% off. Borrow a dress, check out websites like still white.
3. DONāT OVERTHINK IT! You will look beautiful on your day of no matter what because beauty is not only on the outside but within!
This weekend was so wonderful! I had the best time celebrating and reflecting on my 23 years of life with the ones I love dearly!

Decorating tables and taking a few detail shots right before a good meal is one of my favorite things to do! I feel like it sets the atmosphere for better a time.
