📌1. They’re too long 🥱 Want to know your content is good? Watch time is one of the most important indicators showing the algorithm that your content is “good” content (meaning: the longer you can get people to watch, the more it shows the algorithm that your viewers are engaged). 5-7 secs is the sweet spot.
📌2. The editing is off 🎥 Simple and faceless Reels are performing better than highly edited videos. Stop complicating your content creation process by trying to do too much! Use faceless Reels or short “b-roll” footage of you doing something and watch your views go up! Make sure to use vertical vs horizontal and don’t stitch together still images. Reels are meant to be videos not photos!
📌3. The hook sucks 🙀 You have about ONE SECOND to get viewers to stop in their scroll and your hook will determine whether people will continue to watch, read your caption, and essentially engage with you.
