This year, more than 72,000 friends of other faiths have enrolled in and . Seminaries and Institutes of Religion now offer simple and effective ways for youth and young adults to invite their friends to attend with them, including banners, door clings, posters, pass along cards and stickers. If the current trajectory of enrollment holds, seminary and institute will have *one million* enrolled this year—the same year that the program celebrates 100 years of institute.

The Creation story reminds us that Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ are still creating—bringing light to our dark moments, filling our emptiness, and shaping us into who we’re meant to become. We are created in Their image, with divine potential.

Dieter F. Uchtdorf has been called to serve as Acting President of the Quorum of the Twelve Apostles in The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. He received the official appointment and was set apart by Church President Dallin H. Oaks on Thursday, January 8, 2026, upon the passing of the late President Jeffrey R. Holland, who died on December 27, 2025.
