Founded in 1997 by Ronald Shore and Samuel Bernstein, Babyhead Productions has prospered by developing and creating projects of individual and idiosyncratic vision. We have produced two features, several television and new media projects, and partner Samuel Bernstein has written three books. Ronald Shore was on-set producer in Ireland for the Paramount and Showtime film Bobbie's Girl. He spearhead
ed the initial sale to Showtime and shepherded the film through legal, contractual, and foreign tax hurdles. The film went on to receive an Emmy nomination for star Bernadette Peters, was a GLAAD Award Nominee, and was named to The Advocate’s Top Ten for the year. Other projects have included producing and developing sales and marketing materials for the reality show Sally B., (a.k.a. Sally’s Place), as well as producing the home video series Icing on the Cake. He also sold the film Silent Lies to Image Organization and Behavior Worldwide for foreign sales, directing the development and creation of advertising and marketing materials for the film, which premiered at the Montreal World Film Festival, won a Silver Award at Worldfest, and a Bronze at the Houston International Film Festival. Samuel Bernstein wrote and co-produced the Paramount/Showtime film Bobbie's Girl, the multi-festival award-winning feature Silent Lies, has written for such television series as Judging Amy and ABC/Disney’s W.i.t.c.h., and has directed three reality projects, Search For Sarge, Icing on the Cake, and Sally's Place, in addition to directing numerous projects for the stage. He is adapting his award-winning book, “Mr. Confidential: The Man, His Magazine & The Movieland Massacre That Changed Hollywood Forever,” into a stage musical with composer David Snyder. He is the 1995 winner of the American Library Association's Non-Fiction Book of the Year for Uncommon Heroes, and his new multi-award-winning book “Lulu” is soon to become a feature film.
