Courtney Says Thumbs Up Presents: Cherub Rock (Smashing Pumpkins Cover)
***Please stay for Guitar Solo at 3:30***
Check out our latest cover video collaboration of the Smashing Pumpkins tune "Cherub Rock".
I asked my dude Troy Crossley to do the heavy lifting on this song by playing guitar and drums, so I could step out from behind the drums and focus on the challenging lead vocal. Super excited to add Pockets Ov to the team, tracking the bass line in 1 take like a total pro with class and style. I knew the tough part was going to be getting the guitar solo! Billy Corgan is a very specific guitar player and I asked Matt Evans to give it a try. He not only gave it a try but executed the very long solo note for note in the classic Corgan tone. Super impressed by all of the fine folks!! Enjoy
Troy Crossley: Guitar, Drums, Backing Vox
Courtney F X Cahill: Vocals
Pockets Ov: Bass Guitar
Matt Evans: Epic Guitar Solo

Thanks to the 200+ Souls who have decided so far to join me on this Journey. I am going to start my page by highlighting some of the more fun things I have been a part of in 2020.
This year sucked in a lot of ways, but creatively this has been the most I have created, learned and produced in any single year. I took lemons and made cool stuff with my friends.
This one is so fun. Eric Gutman and I have been making music together since the day we met at Band camp in 1992. He has taught me so much about performance and professionalism. He is by far the most talented person I know. He has been on Broadway. He had a really cool role in a Hugh Jackman movie. He had me as the best man at his wedding!!
Here is our fun take on the Barenaked Ladies Classic "Enid"
