In 2 -2 1/3 hours you will be lead step by step through the painting process. You will go home with your 16” x 20” canvas and a new appreciation for your own creativity. Hi Guys!
I've missed you...since the FB shutdown on Tuesday I've been MIA. I have yet again been locked out of my personal page thus resulting in me having no access to the business page I have spent years and a lot of blood, sweat, and tears building. In order to get here I have had to create a new personal profile. I have tried relentlessly to get help with my original personal profile to no avail.

You may remember this happened a few years ago. At that time I had my paid art membership here as well as my free community. I felt it was best to move my art membership as well as my free groups over to a paid platform I had complete control of.

I know many of you are already on my Mighty Networks site. It has a similar feel to FB as it has a discussion feed etc. I urge you to join me over there if you have not. It is a safe place where you will be sure to be notified of what's going on. I have complete control and you will find a safe, stable, creative community.

I've been working on my submission for 100 Women in Art History project for 2024. We are bringing attention to women artists and my artist is Norah McGuinness. We are to reinterpret one of there paintings in our style. The reception is March 22nd at USF Center Gallery, Tampa Florida.

A little about Norah: "Norah McGuinness (1901–1980) Oil and watercolour painter, costume designer and illustrator. Born in Londonderry, Northern Ireland, she studied art in Dublin, at Chelsea Polytechnic and with André Lhote in Paris. Exhibitions included Leicester Galleries and galleries in Ireland. The Irish Arts Council and Trinity College, Dublin, hold her work. Illustrated books by W B Yeats and Elizabeth Bowen, and designed for the Abbey Theatre, Dublin.
Lived at Dun Laoghaire, Dublin, Ireland."
