The J-term snowmobile group lines up at the start of their ride from the Butterfield Lot in Groton Vermont. Standing to the left of the group is Vermont Game Warden Nathan Lumsden. The student group met with Lumsden earlier in the morning at BMU where they discussed the importance of safe operation of their snowmobiles. In addition, Lumsden performed safety inspections on all of the student’s snowmobiles and went on a short ride with the group. J-term snowmobiling continues through Thursday. Tomorrow students will meet with a snowmobile mechanic as well as the Trail Master from a local snowmobile club.
