It’s winter break but… WE MADE IT ONE MORE YEAR‼️Brave New Radio has been nominated in 5 categories of the IBS - Intercollegiate Broadcast System 2024-2025 Awards🧡🖤 Congratulations to our student members, directors, as well as all other universities nominated! Winners will be announced on March 8th, 2025 at the IBSNYC 2025 Conference🙌🏼 But don’t forget to always listen to us live on 88.7 FM or gobrave.org.

Brave New Radio’s next hero is Phylicia Rashad.

Phylicia, known for her role as Clair Huxtable, on The Cosby Show and later as Ruth Lucas, on Cosby, was dubbed “The Mother of the Black Community” at the NAACP Image Awards in 2010. In 2004, she became the first black actress to win the Tony Award for Best Actress in a Play. After years on Broadway and tv shows, she’s currently Dean of Howard University’s Chadwick A. Boseman College of Fine Arts.
