This week, Wausau Police Department staff attended the 2024 Police Lights Of Christmas handoff event at Vandervest Harley-Davidson in Green Bay, where we received over $6,000 in gift cards! 🎁 These gift cards will empower our officers to provide meaningful assistance to individuals and families in need while patrolling our city during the holiday season ❄️ and these cold winter months 🥶.

The best part? The funding for these cards comes directly from you, our incredible community. 🙌 Whether you joined us for Cops @ Culver’s Day 🍔 or cast your vote in this year’s photo COPetition 📸 (we took 3rd place!) , your generosity is making a real difference here in Wausau.

We’d like to give special thanks to Culver's, Lamb's Fresh Market, Porath Photography, 89Q Hope is Here, and the Police Lights Of Christmas program. Combined, Police Lights Of Christmas raised an amazing $225,000 across the state this year! 🌟 Your commitment to bringing hope and joy to those in need is truly inspiring.
