My heart goes out to my Georgia family today. I don't know what else to say. I checked in on my kids who live near Winder and attend public school. - Pete Chagnon

The 14-year-old suspect in the deadly mass shooting at a Winder, Georgia, high school has been identified as C**t Gray, Georgia Bureau of Investigation Director Chris Hosey said at an afternoon news conference. The suspect is a student at the school and will be handled as an adult, he added.

🚗 PARKING INFORMATION for 89Q Hope in the Park with Matthew West on August 25th 🚗

Parking will be available but limited inside Marathon Park. Here's what you need to know:

🟡 General Parking: Outlined in yellow on the map, spaces are available on a first-come, first-served basis.
🔵 Handicapped Parking: Located adjacent to the grandstands, outlined in blue for easy access.
👷 Volunteers: Will be present to guide you to available parking spots.
🚪 Entrances: Access the park via Stewart Ave and Garfield Ave. For pedestrians, there's an entrance at S 10th Ave & Pardee St.
🏘️ Overflow Parking: Available and encouraged in neighborhoods to the south and east of Marathon Park.

Plan ahead, arrive early, and get ready for an amazing event! 🌟

Bring school supplies to Thrivent at Hope in the Park this Sunday to help area foster children and receive a $5.00 voucher for a food vendor! CASA of Marathon County is a new non-profit that recruits, trains, and oversees Court Appointed Special Advocates (CASAs) who represent children in foster care.
Donate new school supplies or Gift Cards for new school clothes. CASA will also receive a financial benefit from Thrivent of $3 for every item donated, up to $3000. Thank you for making a difference! 89q.org/hope-in-the-park

A couple of weeks ago I went kayak fishing in Wausau, Wisconsin and lost this fishing bag I've had for years. Inside the bag was $$$ worth of fly fishing gear and custom made MEPPS lures. My heart sank. I'm autistic and fishing is my stim. It's what gives me "spoons". Losing this bag after all these years caused me to withdraw for a few days. My fiancee Emily Arndt put out a notice and photo on social media to search for the bag. After several days the Wausau Police Dept. reached out and said the bag had been found. A local couple who enjoys fishing found it. They spent days trying to locate me. They knew such a bag was greatly missed. Turns out they have a son on the spectrum too so they understand how upsetting it was for me to lose it. I offered to pay $50 as a reward, but they refused and said, "The fishing community needs to stick together." Tight lines, y'all and thanks for the Hope and Encouragement!
