Don't be fooled (or confused) by the title of this volume: this is a book for keyboardists! "Chorale" is a style of writing—four-part with (generally) a different harmony for each note of the melody. This volume has a setting in this style for EVERY TUNE in the hymnal: https://online.nph.net/christian-worship-easy-hymn-accompaniments-chorale-edition.html

What makes these keyboard settings "easy" is that the soprano-alto is always contained in the right hand and the tenor-bass is always contained in the left hand. Another way to say that is the span of each hand never exceeds an octave. That means no "picking up" the tenor with the right hand. That means no chords that are only playable with organ pedal (or an exceptionally large hand-span). BUT DON'T OVERLOOK THESE OTHER GREAT USES!
--can be used as alternate accompaniments for variation in hymn playing
--provides more organ-friendly accompaniment for hymns whose primary setting is pianistic
--can all be played manuals only
--can all be played on piano
