I’ve been quite busy in the studio now that I have retired from my day job. The album ”Westbound” is preforming well. With most streams of late coming from Italy.
I try to release one song every few months so as not to flood the market.
The latest is called: "Muddy Mississippi Town”. About a Barista I met in a small town on the river.

Let’s compare the "Washburn Scavenger” #1980 and the "Fender P”Bass .
The Scavenger is strung with flat wounds. It sounds bold creamy and thick .
The P is strung with round wound and stainless steel ,a little ruff on the fingers . A rare light rosewood fingerboard on the Washburn . The P bass has a maple fingerboard. The pickups on both are P Bass style . However if you use a pick you will find on the P - bass the pickups are set back farther where as the Washburn is set closer to the neck for us fingerpluckers . I added a high low switch in the Washburn as requested and installed by:”Presley Haskel” RIP.
The Washburn is extremely heavy in weight with great low end sound . Love the weight!
You may know the P - Bass made famous by Paul Simonon of I played the Washburn in the "Bartlett Street” era .
