Here Webelos and Bears will have the opportunity to learn and then demonstrate existing and new scout skills. Today is today and tomorrow is tomorrow. I'm still going to wear green socks pulled up to my knees with one of them endlessly drooping down to my boot. I am still going to hear my grandfathers snicker and laugh about playing mumbly peg with my pocket knife while one of my Scout Masters tell me he will tear a corner off. I am still going to tell young Lodge members how back in the day we worked longer days with less food than they did while someone older than me sits behind me ready to Tap someone out. I am still go to pick up trash and put it in my extra pocket while walking around camp. I am still going to be an Eagle Scout and help the Council, Volunteers I work with, and the Scouting community deliver the promise. Holy Buckets and Amen!

There are a lot of differences between Cub Scouts and Scouts BSA, and what seems obvious to those of us who have been involved in Scouting for years might not be so obvious to those who haven’t.

I'm not saying I will drive 45 miles just for breakfast. However with a name like Jimmy's Makin Bacon that serves a chicken fried pork roll with sausage gravy on a biscuit. I believe New Jersey has some treasures that need to sought after.
