Our film Shamrocked won Best Visual Effects in the World Film Championship. It takes an amazing team to pull off believable visual effects and our team was a joy to work with.

Big shout out to Dark Hoffman who was our Visual Effects Supervisor on the project and who created Digital effects and Digital Art for the film.

I'd also like to give credit to our DP Martez Wilson as well as our AD Edward Michael Scott.

Also to our Art Director: Breanna Swerdan and Dean Paxton for their help making a half a body. :)

Also can't forget our amazing Make Up Ladies: Angie Okonma, Lidia Kosenko and Ashley Richardson for their help as well.

In just a few hours we are releasing two movies that I worked on. The first movie is a short horror film that was made for last fall's 48 Hour Film Project: Detroit and is called FINAL FEAST. Last night I found out that our film SHAMROCKED was selected as one of the top 25 films and will be included in the The Comedy Roll First Annual Showcase! I am honored to have my film included and can't wait to check out all of the films on the big screen on May 19th. Thanks to everyone who helped make the project possible. Congrats to everyone who completed a film for the The Comedy Roll.

I've decided to compete in the first ever Comedy Roll Film competition. We will have 4 weeks to complete a short comedy film, where the genre and elements are decided at a kickoff event tonight.
I am so excited to make a comedy film. This is gonna be fun!

CASTING & CREW CALL for short film MALICE

VernaJune Entertainment will be filming a short film that is a dark retelling of the Alice in Wonderland tale. We are looking to fill two roles. Our tentative shooting dates will be Friday September 22nd and Sunday September 24th.

The roles are unpaid as this is part of a film competition, but actors will receive copy, credit (IMDB), meals on set and photos for your portfolio. We will be filming in an area near Grand Blanc, Ortonville and/or Flint, Michigan.

ALICE – (18-25, Female) – The sweet and innocent college girl is brought back to Wonderland where she must find a way to survive.

QUEEN of HEARTS – (30 – 50, Female) – The Queen of Hearts has grown even more vicious and evil. She is confident, arrogant and ruthless. She has disdain for Alice and won’t be happy until she has Alice’s head.

We are also looking for a Gaffer and Make up Artists to join our crew as well.
