This music network is to provide the adult listening audience a locally produced and locally hosted programming service featuring memorable songs from 1960 to the early 1980’s. Our research has shown that many of America’s favorite recording stars from that period have virtually disappeared from the radio dial. Our intent is to present a wide variety of quality music with fewer interruptions and l

ess hype than other stations. Though primarily an entertainment station, Classic Hits Vermont has its roots in community service radio pioneered by our flagship station WDEV FM and AM. We are dedicated to serving in the public interest with immediate access to vital news information and severe weather alerts in the tradition of the public good, safety and necessity. 101 THE ONE’s STORY

On July 1st, 2014 the Radio Vermont Group introduced a new concept in local radio with the creation of 101-The One. This new music network is to provide the adult listening audience a locally produced and locally hosted programming service featuring well over a thousand memorable songs from 1965 to the mid 80’s. Our research has shown that many of America’s favorite recording stars and hit songs from that period have virtually disappeared from the radio dial. Our intent is to present a wide variety of quality music with fewer interruptions and less hype than other stations. Though primarily an entertainment station, 101 - The One has its roots in community service radio pioneered by our flagship station WDEV FM and AM. We are dedicated to serving in the public interest with immediate access to vital news information and severe weather alerts in the tradition of the public good, safety and necessity. Listen to 101.7-FM From the top of Mt. Mansfield - Serving the Champlain Valley of Vermont and New York, plus Central and Northern Vermont. Listen to 101.5-FM From Grandpa's K**b in Castleton - Serving Rutland and Addison County, and the Southern Champlain Valley. Listen to our FM translator 102.5 in the Capital City of Montpelier, and surrounding communities. Listen 24/7 wherever you are at 101theone.com!
