Next Thursday is Independence Day and you know what that means: Parade time!!
The route this year has changed so please be aware of new road closures and viewing areas. It will go down Crusey, turn at Swanson, go up Lucille, then back down Nelson to meet up with Crusey at the end! Lots of viewing spots are available thanks to the new path.

HIGH FIRE DANGER today. Burn Permits are SUSPENDED. All dead fuels ignite readily, and fires will start easily from most causes. Unattended or unsafe fires are likely to escape. Fires spread rapidly and may become serious and difficult to control unless they are attacked aggressively while small.
A burn permit suspension means no burning of burn barrels, debris piles, or lawn burns. Campfires smaller than 3ft in diameter for the purpose of warming, cooking, or signaling are still allowed. Any approved fire, even a small one should be undertaken with extreme caution and vigilance at this time of year.

There will be large, planned outage on Thursday, June 20 for 664 residents in Settlers Bay beginning at 10:00 a.m. This outage is anticipated to last up to 6 hours as crews replace a pole and upgrade some underground equipment.
Impacted members were notified in advance with an auto call Tuesday morning and this post is a reminder of this planned outage. If you have questions or need any assistance, please contact member services at 907-761-9300. We appreciate your patience and understanding as we work to improve reliability for our members.
