A few months back, we won "Best Original Score" at Jackson Wild. The festival featured 600+ film entries from 26 different countries, representing the best in wildlife and natural history filmmaking.

To say we are honored is an understatement. It was a career defining moment that we share with our partners at Day's Edge Productions, Terra Mater Studios and the Smithsonian Channel.

We've got a great lineup of film screenings at this year's Jackson Wild Summit, including Smithsonian Channel's MIAMI WILD. 🦚

Nominated as a finalist in the 2022 Jackson Wild Media Awards Original Musical Score category, MIAMI WILD tells the story of a neighborhood park set in the city suburbs, where animals from around the world struggle to make new lives for themselves alongside the native species. The film’s score is inspired by Miami’s rich musical heritage, pulling sounds from all over the world.

The screening will be followed by a Q&A with Executive Producer Tria Thalman, directors Neil Losin and Nathan Dappen, and composer IaCleod9od (Cleod9).

Our newest collaboration with Virginia Lottery and Yebo!

We dove deep into the world of Motown for this project. Thanks to the trust of Yebo, our team was brought in early to explore ideas and build out a few custom samples. We tried out Stax style, funk/blues...but ultimately landed on a classic, pop soul sound.

We first met CaravanLab at International Wildlife Film Festival in 2020. Their work was sharp, honest and empathetic.

Fast forward a year, we just finished scoring their new short film for the African Conservation Development Group. Based in Gabon, the film showcases a new nature based approach to conservation.
~
We incorporated live recordings of chants, eclectic percussion and other local instrumentation into the score. Take a listen below!

A little over a year ago, Cowboys: A Documentary Portrait premiered at Austin Film Festival. This past Tuesday, it officially went live on multiple streaming platforms.

What a journey for our directors, Bud Force and John Langmore. Somehow, they put their faith in us to score this 80-minute feature: 32 original music cues, live string ensembles, whip crack snares and rattle cymbals. We are eternally grateful.
