"Hey hey, ho ho, these CEO's have got to go!" chanted supporters of Luigi Mangione as he pled not guilty in New York City today to terrorism and the murder of United Healthcare CEO Brian Thompson. "Free, free Luigi!"

"Finally somebody did something," one supporter explained. "Part of me was happy about it, and I have no sympathy for him and what he went through."

"Brian Thompson was a mass murderer and so is United Healthcare. So are all the insurance companies. So you can't be that corrupt for that long and that greedy for that long and kill that many people and not expect consequences."

Mangione, who is also facing federal charges, pled not guilty in New York court.

Climate activists blockaded entrances to the Department of Energy demanding that Biden use his final days in office to cancel permits for Liquified Natural Gas (LNG) plants and LNG exports before Trump takes power.

"Natural gas, my a**! Methane is a poison gas!"

One climate activist invoked "delay, deny, defend" to compare the energy industry to that of to***co and healthcare. "It's all the same bu****it!"

"We have every single technological, scientific, and political lever at our disposal right now to solve this crisis. What we don't have is the political will and courageous leaders willing to get it done."

"So if they will not save us, we will save ourselves."

After two warnings, Homeland Security Officers ordered the blockading climate activists to stand and handcuffed them.

"Off fossil fuels, Biden, off fossil fuels!" the group continued to chant as 13 were arrested.

"Cancel LNG! Cancel LNG!"

"I'm getting arrested today because I believe that the people in suits who are laughing at us right now are the ones who should be in handcuffs!" one climate activist explained as she was taken away.

"I'm here because I care about a livable future!"

Following the 13 arrests, Climate Defiance activists circled around to the other entrance to the Department of Energy, where a similar blockade had taken place without arrests, some in rocking chairs.

Michael Greenberg declared victory: "We shut down business as usual at the Department of Energy! We disrupted an agency of over 10,000 people and you can bet that this protest got noticed as high up as the Secretary of Energy herself!"

As the Supreme Court heard arguments Wednesday morning in United States v. Skrmetti over whether Tennessee can ban transgender-affirming care for minors, protesters on both side spoke outside.

Actor Elliot Page spoke out: "I know how important it is for all of us to disrupt the narratives that demonize us."

Page says gender-affirming care improved his life. "The evidence proves that this medical care is safe and effective."

"We all know that they want to ban this care, not because it doesn't work, but because it does."

"No child should ever have her breasts cut off" proclaimed Congresswoman Marjorie Taylor Greene from a rivaling rally as a 12 year old transgender child spoke in front of the Supreme Court: "Despite me having a normal life, it's wild that people think that trans kids are just a danger to society."

Oregon Senator Jeff Merkley cited a study saying that gender-affirming care reduces patient su***de by 3/4.

"It's not some abstract notion. This is real medical care for our very real children," Merkley said. "Let's stand with our transgender youth!"

Rev. Emma Chattin of the Metropolitan Community Church of Northern Virginia cited Genesis 1:26-27.

"If male and female are made in the image of God, then God is similar to both and unlike either, and that's the definition of genderq***r!"

"My God is totally trans!"

"We are calling on the highest court in the land to remember that freedom is not reserved for a select few," said Congressman Mark Takano.

"The Constitution's freedoms exist for all Americans including trans Americans."

Actress Annette Bening described having a transgender teen.

"I learned that what these kids and families need is judicious counciling, sound medical advice, and an atmosphere of calm, and love, and acceptance."

"Our trans kid, and all trans folks need to be seen and heard."

"No matter what happens in that courtroom today, December 4, 2024, Chase Strangio is an American hero changing the world for the better," said comedian Ilana Glazer, describing the attorney arguing against the Tennessee law before the Supreme Court.

"Today the court will hear the first case on whether Tennessee's ban on safe, effective, life-affirming and life-saving gender-affirming care for transgender children is unconstitutional," said Senator Ed Markey.

"We will not simply stand by while Republicans fight to make it harder to get healthcare!"

Chase Strangio, who became the first openly transgender attorney to argue before the Supreme Court, came outside and spoke to the activists as the hearing ended.

"This is all of us, we are here with out ancestors, and we are here with whoever will come after us," Strangio said. "We are collectively a refutation of everything they say about us."

"We are in this together, and I know that the months ahead and the years ahead are terrifying, and I know that we have been the subject of relentless and unjustified attack... but here's the thing, we are in it together."

Pro-Palestine protesters gather at White House week after Trump elected

A month after Hurricane Helene, North Carolinians are still struggling to recover.

This weekend, militia group Virginia Kekoas joined with civilian volunteers around Mount Mitchell, digging through decimated houses for salvageable items for surviving homeowners.

David Phillips and Dustin Coke have been volunteering for weeks in the areas affected by Hurricane Helene.

They describe that the scope of destruction is incomprehensible until visiting, and poorer communities are being forgotten about.

Using this home as an example, Coke describes how homeowers asked them to look for some belongings, such as guitars, that "make them feel like they haven't fully lost everything."

"We're here simply because we love them," said Phillips. "Me and this guy, we don't got much. But you know what we got a lot of? Love for each other and for the people we're here to help."

Many of the donation centers are actually fairly well-stocked, but volunteers both at the affected areas and the "hubs" for relief distribution remain needed.

The militia also spent some time sorting donations at a local church.

"It's eye-opening how much damage has occurred down here," said Kekoas leader Eddie "ICE" Ray. "And we've only hit the tip of the iceberg."

"Militia really is just community, and that's what this is all about," added David Phillips.

Pro-Palestine protesters as well as some Trump supporters gathered outside the White House last night as the election took place.

One Trump supporter was confronted over his views on immigration by an activist who proceeded to invoke Harriet Tubman.

"For years, liberals have branded their candidate as the lesser of two evils," a pro-Palestine speaker explained. "But we are tired of voting for evil of any kind!"

"And the nerve to call Kamala Harris the lesser evil while she co-conspires in this accelerated genocide and ethnic cleansing of Palestinians and the carpet bombing of Lebanon. Is our blood that cheap? Are their limbs and lives worth that little?"

"Shame!" the crowd responded.

"Both Democrats and Republicans are united in their support for imperialism and Zionism," another speaker added, outside the White House."

"In fact, they fight over which of them supports the Zionist project more, shame!"

"No matter what the outcome of tonight is, q***r people all over the world stand to lose as one of the two rotten, genocidal candidates steps back into the office," an activist described outside the White House as Trump was elected.

"F*** Donald Trump!" chanted the activists outside the White House as Trump was elected.

"F*** Kamala Harris!" they also chanted.

As presidential election results came in Tuesday night, avowed communists in New York City marched while chanting "Fight Trump, fight Harris too, they don't really care about you!"

"There is only one solution! Intifada revolution!"

"Takbir! Allahu Akbar!" chanted pro-Palestine protesters setting fire to an Israeli flag Tuesday night in New York City as Donald Trump was elected to a second term in the White House.

"Intifada, Intifada! Long live the Intifada!" chanted the protesters.

"There is no lesser of two evils," a speaker explained as Trump was elected. "Just like we said 'Genocide Joe,' it's 'Holocaust Harris.'"

"No matter who wins, the Palestinians lose."

As the Women's March kicked off in Washington DC on Saturday, anti-abortion activists ran into the event chanting "Abortion is murder, abortion is oppression."

They were rapidly confronted by the crowd, who supports abortion access.

"On the sidewalk!" Women's March marshals physically removed an anti-abortion activist, pushing her step by step until she was out of Freedom Plaza, where WM held the permit.

"You don't have the right to touch me, it's my body my choice," the anti-abortion activist said.

"Palestinian rights begin in the womb!"

The anti-abortion group, once pushed out of the Women's March rally point at Freedom Plaza, continued to demonstrate in front of the march path, including dumping a red liquid into the street apparently symbolizing blood.
