Mission statement

We are an Independent Press Agency with the ambition to: Advance the African Diaspora’s Heritage around the world by promoting Africa’s aspirations for democracy, liberties, and development of free press.

Our story

DFM is devoted to delivering comprehensive media strategies, news, POLITICAL ANALYSIS, music, interviews, cultural events, community related announcements and scheduled programming via its online television and radio networks that appeal to both audiences in Africa and various communities around the world that constitute the African diaspora . DFM’s recurring online radio (DIASPO FM) and TV station (DFM TV) daytime programming will consist of local and International news, sports, and weather; call-in programs focusing on community development and services; education; health; recreation; civic activities and events; and business development and special interests. In addition to in-studio programs, remote broadcasts will be a frequent part of DFM's programming schedule.

These will include live and recorded coverage of events occurring around the world and including breaking news from Africa , political issues, sporting events, and special events that may happen periodically and on a one-time basis. DFM ‘s radio and TV will broadcast 7 days per week, 24 hour per day.
