Germany has officially announced it will lift its restrictions on arms exports to Israel, a move set to take effect on November 24, 2025. The decision reverses a partial suspension implemented in August 2025 and is based on the German government’s assessment that the current Gaza ceasefire has “stabilized”

Government spokespeople, including Sebastian Hille and Stefan Kornelius, cited the US-brokered ceasefire in effect since October 10 as the primary reason for the decision, along with efforts toward a lasting peace and increased humanitarian aid in Gaza.

Germany is Israel’s second-largest arms supplier after the United States, providing around 30% of its major arms imports.

After being kidnapped and imprisoned by the IDF for delivering aid to Gaza, Greg Stoker is back. In his first State of Play livestream since his release, he brings a new perspective on the real reason Washington is prepping for war in Venezuela.

The same impunity that defines Israel’s war in Gaza has now come to the Western Hemisphere with “Operation Southern Spear.” Despite what the Pentagon claims, this isn’t about cartels—it’s textbook resource extraction.

This is “Monroe Doctrine 2.0”: a desperate war for Venezuela’s rare earth minerals to prop up America’s AI-fueled economy. The goal? To prevent a catastrophic bubble burst that would trigger a recession, no matter the cost in human lives.

Aid officials from the United Nations Relief and Works Agency (UNRWA) and other non-governmental organizations (NGOs) continue to issue dire warnings that Israeli restrictions are severely limiting the flow of essential humanitarian supplies into Gaza, exacerbating the already catastrophic malnutrition and health crises.

Despite a standing ceasefire, UN and aid officials report that Israel continues to impose strict quotas and unnecessary delay procedures on goods entering the territory. This is leading to a critical shortage of food, water, medicine, shelter materials, and fuel, especially in northern Gaza.

UNRWA Commissioner-General Philippe Lazzarini has labelled the situation “man-made, preventable starvation,” emphasizing that the ongoing crisis is a direct result of blockades on aid.

UNRWA has massive stores of essential supplies, equivalent to 6,000 trucks of food, tents, and other items, sitting in warehouses in Jordan and Egypt, unable to enter Gaza due to entry denials.

A BBC investigation has uncovered new evidence that forensic experts says implicates 2 US Marines who were never brought to trial in the killing of a family during the notorious Haditha massacre in Iraq in 2005

The evidence includes video & audio recordings that challenge the original military investigation and legal proceedings, where no one was convicted. The massacre involved US Marines killing 24 Iraqi civilians, including a family of 8. A forensic expert concluded that 2 Marines were responsible for the deaths of the family.

An audio recording from the squad leader’s trial contains Lance Corporal Humberto Mendoza changing his account about entering the room where the family was killed, a location the expert identified with one of the shooters. Mendoza previously admitted to shooting the family’s father.

The investigation found earlier statements from Lance Corporal Stephen Tatum, where he admitted to shooting children in the room.

Safa Younes, the sole survivor of the family, is still seeking justice

Reports indicate that at least 98 Palestinians have died in Israeli custody since October ‘23, with human rights organizations suggesting the actual number is likely higher due to hundreds of missing detainees.

The figure was published in a recent report by the Israeli human rights group Physicians for Human Rights – Israel (PHRI), based on data obtained from the Israeli army & Prison Service, as well as their own investigations.

The report, & associated media investigations, cite causes of death including physical violence, torture, medical neglect, & malnutrition. An examination of autopsy reports showed signs of injuries like head trauma & broken ribs in some cases.

Testimonies from former guards, detainees, & medical staff describe a pattern of “systematic and rampant” abuse & violence that has become normalized in Israeli detention facilities since the war began.

A significant number of those who died in custody were civilians, including doctors, contradicting claims that all detainees were militants

Israel’s far-right National Security Minister, Itamar Ben-Gvir, has called for the targeted killings of senior Palestinian Authority (PA) officials if the United Nations advances a resolution implying a pathway to Palestinian statehood.

Speaking at a meeting of his Otzma Yehudit party, Ben-Gvir stated that if the UN accelerates the recognition of a Palestinian state, “orders must be given for targeted killings of senior Palestinian Authority officials—who are terrorists in every respect—as well as an order for the arrest of Abu Mazen” (PA President Mahmoud Abbas). He also claimed that a solitary confinement cell was ready for Abbas at Ketziot Prison.

These comments were made on November 17, 2025, ahead of a UN Security Council vote on a US-drafted resolution related to a Gaza ceasefire plan, which mentioned a “credible pathway to Palestinian self-determination and statehood”.

In a sharp reversal of his previous stance, President Donald Trump now supports the release of the remaining Jeffrey Epstein files and has urged House Republicans to vote in favor of a measure to force the Justice Department to release them.

On Sunday, November 16, 2025, Trump posted on Truth Social: “House Republicans should vote to release the Epstein files, because we have nothing to hide, and it’s time to move on from this Democrat Hoax”.

This change in position came as a bipartisan bill to compel the release of the files, sponsored by Republican Rep. Thomas Massie and Democratic Rep. Ro Khanna, gained enough signatures on a discharge petition to force a vote in the House. Before this, Trump and his allies had resisted the effort for months, leading to a public feud with some Republican lawmakers, including Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene, who advocated for the files’ release.

Richard Falk was recently detained by on November 13, 2025. He and his wife, legal scholar Hilal Elver, were held for questioning for more than four hours by the Canada Border Services Agency (CBSA) on suspicion of posing a “national security threat” to Canada.

They were eventually released and allowed to enter the country.
The detention occurred as Falk, a former UN special rapporteur on human rights in the Palestinian territories, was traveling to Ottawa to speak at a “Palestine Tribunal” conference that aimed to examine Canada’s role in the Israeli assault on Gaza. During their interrogation, Falk and Elver were questioned about their work on Israel, Gaza, and general issues of genocide. Falk stated it was his “first experience of this sort—ever—in [his] life”.

An investigation by the Israeli newspaper Haaretz revealed that a shadowy organization led by a man with dual Israeli-Estonian nationality has facilitated the exit of hundreds of Palestinians from Gaza.

The organization, which presents itself as an association named Al-Majd Europe but is reportedly a front for a consultancy company registered in Estonia, arranges charter flights for Palestinians from Gaza to various countries, including South Africa and Indonesia.

The group is reportedly run by an Israeli-Estonian national named Tomer Janar Lind.

The operation is said to be operating in close coordination with the Coordinator of Government Activities in the Territories (COGAT), a unit of the Israeli military.

Palestinians seeking to leave Gaza through this route are reportedly required to pay around $2,000 for a spot on the flights.

The flights have landed in countries such as Kenya (for transit), South Africa, Indonesia, and Malaysia.

The nature of these flights has sparked controversy, with South African authorities initially refusing entry to 153 Palestinians who arrived without proper travel documents in November 2025, and some activists alleging it is a form of “trafficking” or “forced transfer”. South Africa’s intelligence services are investigating the matter.

The UK government has confirmed it plans to give itself new powers to seize valuable assets, such as high-value jewellery and vehicles like cars and e-bikes, from asylum seekers to help cover accommodation costs.

The plan would target valuables acquired both before and after an asylum seeker arrives in the UK. A government minister said it is “right that if people have money in the bank, if people have assets like cars, like E-bikes, they should be contributing”.

The UK government has taken inspiration from Denmark’s stricter asylum policies, which also include a “jewellery law” allowing authorities to seize asylum seekers’ valuables.

The trial for the first six members of the Filton 24 began today, Monday, November 17, 2025, at Woolwich Crown Court in London.

The activists are facing charges including aggravated burglary, criminal damage, and violent disorder for an action they took in August 2024 at an Elbit Systems facility near Bristol, where they allegedly damaged around £2 million worth of Israeli military equipment, including quadcopter drones. They have been held on remand for over a year awaiting trial, and some face up to two years in prison before their cases are heard.

The cases for the remaining defendants have been split into separate trials scheduled for April 2026 and June 2026. The current trial for the first six is expected to last for ten weeks.

Some members of the group are currently on an open-ended hunger strike to protest their detention conditions and the UK government’s use of counter-terrorism powers against them.

Oxford Union debating society has voted “overwhelmingly” in favour of a motion declaring that Israel is a greater “threat to regional stability” than Iran.
The debate took place on Thursday, November 13, 2025, and the motion passed by a significant margin of 265 votes to 113.

Speakers included the former Palestinian Authority Prime Minister Mohammad Shtayyeh, who argued that Israel is an “expansionist colonial state” and the primary source of instability in the Middle East.

Speakers against the motion included Hillel Neuer, the director of the non-governmental organization UN Watch. He argued that regional stability is measured by “who starts wars, not who stops them.”

Members of the student-run Oxford Union ultimately sided with the proposition by a wide margin.

This vote follows a similar event in 2024 where the Oxford Union passed a motion accusing Israel of being “an apartheid state responsible for genocide”.
