A recent ruling by the Higher Administrative Court in Münster, which is the top court for North Rhine-Westphalia, Germany, determined that a police ban on questioning Israel’s right to exist at a pro-Palestinian demonstration was unlawful.

The court clarified that denying Israel’s right to exist does not in itself constitute a criminal offense under German law.

The court emphasized that questioning the founding of Israel and advocating for peaceful change falls under freedom of expression and should not be banned outright; instead, such expressions must be assessed within their specific context.
Regarding specific slogans, the court found that “There is only one state—Palestine 48” could not be prohibited, lacking a direct link to Hamas and referencing historical events.
However, banning “Yalla, yalla, Intifada” was likely lawful due to its potential interpretation as a call to violence in the current context. For “From the river to the sea, Palestine will be free,” while no final ruling was made, the court indicated that a police ban could be justified if associated with a prohibited group.

The Israeli airstrike on tents housing displaced people in the Al-Mawasi area west of Khan Younis killed at least five Palestinians, including two children, and injured dozens more.

The Najaat camp, a cluster of tents in the Al-Mawasi coastal area, which Israel had designated a “humanitarian zone” or “safe zone”.

Medics at the Kuwait Field Hospital confirmed five bodies were recovered, some of them “completely charred”. The deceased were identified as two women and three others, including two boys aged eight and ten.

The Irish Council for Civil Liberties (ICCL) has filed a complaint with the Irish Data Protection Commission (DPC) against Microsoft, alleging the tech giant’s data processing on behalf of the Israeli Military facilitated severe human rights violations and continues to enable mass surveillance of Palestinians.

The complaint alleges that Microsoft Ireland’s processing of personal data “facilitates and enables severe human rights violations, including war crimes, crimes against humanity and genocide”.

The ICCL claims Microsoft’s Azure cloud services were used by Israel’s military intelligence Unit 8200 to intercept and store “millions of phone calls” from the Palestinian population in Gaza and the West Bank, linking this surveillance data to lethal targeting of civilians.

The complaint states that Microsoft facilitates critical components of the “Al Minasseq” app system, used by the Israeli government to control Palestinian movement and central to the “illegal Israeli occupation and its apartheid regime”.

Iraq initially published an official decision to designate Lebanon’s Hezbollah and Yemen’s Ansar Allah (Houthis) as terrorist entities and freeze their assets, but then officially withdrew the statement, clarifying that their inclusion in the official gazette was an error.

The Iraqi Official Gazette, in an issue dated November 17, 2025, published a decision by the government’s Committee for Freezing Terrorist Funds that listed 24 entities as terrorist organizations, including Hezbollah and Ansar Allah. The decision ordered the freezing of all their funds and assets in Iraq.

Following the publication, which caused a significant stir in Iraq due to the groups’ political influence and ties to resistance factions, the Central Bank’s Committee for Freezing Terrorist Funds issued a correction. They explained that the published version mistakenly included several groups with no links to ISIS or al-Qaeda, as the document was released before a final revision.

GB News has publicly apologized and paid substantial damages and legal costs to the UK-based charity Islamic Relief for airing false allegations that the organization funded terrorist groups.

The untrue claims were made by an Emirati political analyst, Amjad Taha, during a live broadcast in February 2025.

Amjad Taha alleged during a broadcast that Islamic Relief sent money to “some terrorist groups in the Middle East” and was banned in several countries following an investigation.

GB News apologized publicly, acknowledging the untruth of the allegation and stating that Islamic Relief is a purely humanitarian organization that does not support extremism.

A High Court statement confirmed a settlement, including substantial damages and costs paid to Islamic Relief, with the charity receiving £30,000 in damages.

Shahmina Amal, the sister of 28-year-old Palestine Action-affiliated hunger striker Kamran Ahmed, has expressed profound fear for his life, stating that she fears every conversation with him will be her last.

Kamran Ahmed was taken to hospital on November 25, 2025, due to a rapid deterioration in his health, including dizziness, breathing difficulties, chest pains, low blood sugar, and dangerously high ketone levels. He is asthmatic, which puts him at higher risk of complications.

Shahmina Amal has condemned the UK government for its failure to engage with the hunger strikers’ demands, suggesting ministers may be waiting for them all to be hospitalised or “even worse” before responding. She described living her “worst fear” after he was hospitalised.

Kamran Ahmed is one of six prisoners affiliated with Palestine Action currently on a rolling hunger strike, which is now in its fourth week. A second hunger striker, Teuta ‘T’ Hoxha, was also hospitalised last week.

More than 100 doctors have signed a letter urging NHS England’s health and justice team, which oversees prison healthcare, to intervene and ensure the hunger strikers receive appropriate care.

Shahmina Amal is urging ministers to engage with the demands to prevent further health crises among the prisoners.

Colombian Senator Clara López Obregón was formally granted Palestinian citizenship during a ceremony held in Bogotá on November 29, 2025, which was the United Nations’ International Day of Solidarity with the Palestinian People.

During the ceremony, Palestinian Ambassador to Colombia, Raouf Almalki, presented Senator López with official documents. López requested citizenship after the assault on Gaza and intends to use her new status to advocate for the Palestinian cause. This action is consistent with President Gustavo Petro’s foreign policy, which involves severing ties with Israel and recognizing Palestine as a sovereign state.

Yasser Abu Shabab, the leader of an Israeli-backed armed Palestinian faction in Gaza known as the “Popular Forces” that opposed Hamas, was reported killed in the southern Gaza Strip on Thursday, December 4, 2025.

He was a key figure in an Israeli effort to support local clans against resistance factions. Abu Shabab was shot in eastern Rafah and later died from his injuries.

Reports on the exact circumstances and perpetrators are conflicting. Some Israeli sources suggest his death was due to an internal dispute or rival tribal clashes, while other reports suggest he was killed in a Hamas ambush. Hamas’s anti-collaborator unit posted a message implying Israeli protection would not be sufficient.

During the current Filton trial at Woolwich Crown Court, it was revealed that PC Grant exchanged emails with an anonymous contact at Elbit Systems (“Witness A”) concerning the handling of police CCTV evidence and potential defense strategies.

The email from PC Grant regarding the gaps in footage submitted by Elbit read:

“There’s a huge opportunity for the defence counsel to use the gaps and jumps to their advantage”.

The police in the UK have a duty to investigate all reasonable lines of inquiry impartially, “towards and away from the suspect”. Discussing defense strategy with the corporate victim (Elbit Systems) suggests a potential conflict of interest and a lack of impartiality, which is a cornerstone of the policing code of ethics.

The Criminal Procedure and Investigations Act 1996 (CPIA) mandates strict rules for recording and retaining all material relevant to an investigation, including “unused material” which might weaken the prosecution’s case.

Mothin Ali, the co-deputy leader of the Green Party of England and Wales, is scheduled to visit Palestine Action hunger strikers in HMP Bronzefield.

Mothin Ali plans to meet with two prisoners, Amu Gib and Qesser Zuhrah, who are part of a group known as the “ ”.

The prisoners are on hunger strike to protest their detention conditions, which Ali has described as “appalling,” and to demand immediate release on bail and a fair trial.

The hunger strike involves six individuals in total and is considered the largest in the UK since the 1981 IRA hunger strike led by Bobby Sands. Mainstream media has largely been accused of ignoring the situation.

These comments were made during a Cabinet meeting on December 3, 2025.
