I went to a restaurant to meet my fiancé's parents for the first time, but what they did made me cancel the wedding.

I met my fiancé at work, and we quickly bonded over his humour, kindness, and confidence. When he proposed after just six months of dating, I didn't hesitate to say yes. Until now, I hadn’t met his parents since they lived out of state, but they came to visit specifically to meet me.

My fiancé had reserved a table at a nice restaurant for the occasion. I spent hours getting ready, picking out the perfect dress and perfecting my makeup. I was determined to make a good impression, thinking we’d have a lovely dinner filled with laughter and I’d feel welcomed into the family.

When 53-year-old Barbara took the pregnancy test and saw two lines, she couldn't believe her eyes! Yes, she was expecting a child. The sudden weight gain and mood swings weren't just coincidences, and by the time Barbara realized, it was too late.

Her daughter, Melanie, visited and cared for her mother from the moment she found out Barbara was pregnant.

Josh, Melanie's husband, was equally supportive, accompanying her to the hospital on weekends to help care for his mother-in-law. But all the love and support vanished the day the twins were born.

My crazy, pretentious neighbor has been hating on me and my car for no reason. I'm from a small town in Texas, and it seems she thought that was reason enough to treat me like less of a human.

"Mr. Johnson," she snapped one day as I was unloading groceries, glaring at my truck like it was something she'd scrape off her shoe. "That monstrosity you call a vehicle is a disgrace to our neighborhood. It looks like something a farmer would drive, not someone living in a respectable community. You need to get something more appropriate—or at least park it where no one can see it."

I just stared at her, half-amused and half-irritated. "Well, Mrs. Benson, this 'monstrosity' is my late father's car, and I love it very much."

She rolled her eyes, clearly not impressed. "It's an embarrassment, and it's bringing down the tone of the entire street. If you had any consideration for your neighbors, you'd upgrade to something more… refined."

MY GREEDY IN-LAWS TRIED TO GET RID OF MY SICK MOM, BUT SHE EXCELLENTLY TAUGHT THEM A LESSON.
As soon as we got married, my in-laws lost their home and jobs. They pleaded with my mom to let them live in her home, and she agreed. She lives alone and is paralyzed, with a nurse to care for her.
At the beginning, they were okay. My MIL cooked meals, and my FIL mowed the grass. But then, they changed.
They started complaining that my mom was occupying the whole first floor (which is obvious) and they couldn't put their stuff there.
Then, they mumbled about the simple food my mom has in her fridge (yes, they only eat what SHE buys). And they started hinting about a nursing home for her.
Me: "Mom, do you want me to ask them to leave? They're crossing the line."
Her: "Honey, don't worry, I'll take care of everything."
And she DID! My mom told them she was moving into a nursing home and they can move to the 1ST floor. They were sure they WON the battle. But in two days, my crying in-laws called us yelling, "HOW COULD SHE ⬇️

I FELL ASLEEP ON MY HUSBAND'S SHOULDER IN THE PLANE BUT WOKE UP ON THE SHOULDER OF ANOTHER MAN.

For the last 6 months, my husband, Jerry, was constantly busy with his new project. But yesterday, we finally had got to go to Miami for vacation. When he tried to say something about postponing it, I insisted it was impossible since all the tickets and hotel were booked, so we were doing this now.

Moving forward to the plane. As soon as we took off, I fell asleep on Jerry's shoulder. But the next time I opened my eyes, it was a stranger's shoulder I was leaning on, and I was about to yell when he said:

HIM: "Hush. Please, we don't have much time. I saw you and your husband at the airport, and I thought you needed to know. When he returns to you in a few minutes, behave as usual."

MY MOM WAS LOCKED UP IN A CLOSET DURING MY WEDDING CEREMONY — WHEN WE FINALLY FOUND HER, WE WERE SHOCKED TO DISCOVER WHO DID THAT TO HER AND WHY.

I was always close with my mom, so we both dreamed about my wedding. We chose our outfits, had fun choosing the cake, and almost cried when we chose the song for the Father-Daughter Dance.

When my dad was taking me down the aisle, I shockingly found out that there was NO MOM among the guests. I immediately stopped the ceremony and asked my dad and brothers to look for her.

Honestly, I’m kinda confused… I got engaged around a month ago. When she moved in with me, it was the first time we discussed finances, and she was shocked to learn I made 15x her salary. She then asked for a diamond engagement ring that cost $15,000. After the proposal, she told me she was planning to quit her job and be a stay-at-home fiancée. When I tell people the reason she gave me, they laugh in my face because she said she wants to quit her job to have enough time to plan the wedding.

People say my fiancée is a golddigger and she’ll never get back to work after the wedding. I’m not really comfortable with my future wife not having a career at such a young age. A NOTE FROM THE DELIVERY GUY MADE ME INSTALL SECURITY CAMERAS AROUND MY HOUSE – I'LL FOREVER BE GRATEFUL TO HIM.
I often order food delivery when I'm too tired to cook for my kids, and over time, we got close with the delivery guy in our area. However, the last time he arrived, he seemed nervous and fidgety. Instead of talking to my little ones, as he usually does, and high-fiving them before leaving, he shoved the food into my hands and rushed back to his car.
Stunned and confused, I watched him drive away. As I brought the food into the kitchen, still wondering what his deal was, I happened to look at the back of the bag—and froze. In shaky handwriting, there was a message that made me forget about lunch and everything else. I rushed to the backyard. MY HEART SANK when I threw open the trash can lid, and there, saw ⬇️
