The older I grow in faith, the more I realize, emotions can inspire you, but only truth can sustain you. You can shout in worship, cry in prayer, attend every meeting, and still crumble when pressure comes, if your foundation is weak.
Jesus didn’t say the wise man wouldn’t face storms; He said when the storm came, the house built on the rock stood. (Matthew 7:24–25). That’s the secret of stability, not in avoiding the rain, but in building deep before it starts falling.
There was a season in my life when everything that could shake was shaking, finances, relationships, even ministry. I prayed for rescue, but God began rebuilding. He showed me that faith isn’t just believing for things; it’s being built by truth. He stripped away opinions, and gave me foundation, line upon line, Word upon Word.
That’s why some people survive what breaks others: it’s not luck, it’s depth. Their roots go deep into Scripture, not feelings. They live from conviction, not convenience.
So my prayer for you today: may you not just hear the Word but become it. May your faith find footing in revelation, your heart rest on truth, and your life reflect the strength of what you’ve been taught.
Because when the foundation is strong, no season can sink you. You’ll not just survive, you’ll stand. Amen...
