Since I cook for just me nearly all the time, there are things I rarely fix anymore. But I decided I wanted roast beef and mashed potatoes, so the roast went into the crockpot at 6:30 this morning, before I left for school. I have to say it’s quite tasty, and I have leftovers to turn into something else delicious!

Thanksgiving prep has begun! Cornbread is ready to dry out a couple of days, sweet potatoes peeled and chopped for pie baking tomorrow! I’m excited folks! It’s my first time cooking a thanksgiving meal and I’m following traditional family recipes!
