With over 30 years of service in DCPS, she was recognized for her instructional leadership and commitment to academic excellence.📌 August 1989 – Recognized for over three decades of dedicated service in DCPS.📌 December 22, 1988 – Under her leadership, Bunker Hill Elementary School received the highest honor ever bestowed upon an elementary school by the Department of Education. She was formally recognized in a letter from the then Assistant Superintendent.Recently celebrating her 90th birthday, Carolyn Ralph Preston continues to be a shining example of dedication and leadership in education. We salute her legacy and impact on DC’s students and schools!
