My LowCarb Story

It seems I've struggled with my weight in some form of another all my life. The focus has always been the number, rather than how healthy I was or how my body felt. Eventually I lost control. Weighing at close to 300 lbs., in October of 2015 I made the decision to change the way I ate and looked at food. I adopted the LCHF lifestyle mixed with carb cycling and the weight quickly fell off. Eventually I would go on to lose close to 100 lbs. in 6 months. In September of that following year, my world came crashing down when I had to walk away from my career, and my home and move 7 hours away. My struggle has always been emotional eating. Ultimately this hardship would lead to binge eating and heavy drinking. I started to slowly gain the weight back which in turn made me even more depressed. This page is what has saved me. Today I am stronger and more motivated than ever to end this cycle of bad habits. I created this page mostly for accountability but also to be a support system for others struggling with their weight. As corny as it sounds, this is our year and we can do this, together.
