MUURLAND made history today with the largest state pardon. 🗣️🗣️🙌🏾

Maryland Governor Wes Moore has pardoned more than 175,000 convictions related to the possession of cannabis and paraphernalia.

The pardons will not result in anyone being released from incarceration — nor will they result in having past convictions automatically expunged from a person’s background check. However, advocates have praised this decision as it helps remove barriers to housing, employment, and education for people with convictions.

Maryland legalized cannabis use and possession, and adults 21 and older may possess, use, and grow cannabis in 2023.

Hattiloo’s production “Sing, Sistah, Sing!” celebrates the indomitable spirit of Black women. The performance includes concerts from Lil Rounds, , recent finale contestant on The Voice, Wendy Moten, and three-time Grammy nominated singer AngieStone. Four Black sororities will each perform a step routine that will make the stage quake between each concert.
