AAF : ALTHOUGH THERE IS NO JUSTIFICATION FOR STEALING OUR HOMES, APON HAS INVITED US TO THE FOLLOWING ZOOM MEETING!

At our last Networking Committee meeting, it was put forth that we form a "coalition" with our affiliate organizations, such as Fraudstoppers, Americans Against Foreclosures, The New Untouchables and Floridians for Honest Lending. I am inviting all members of those groups to invite their constituents to another free, special APON member support group meeting this coming Wednesday, where we will be taught by a professional writer named Gabrielle Lennon about being a victim of legal abuse and how to write about it in a compelling and concise way. She not only has experienced legal abuse (although not in a foreclosure), she is also an actress and can speak to how to handle the stress of litigation and court appearances when one's emotions are raw. As APON members have been learning not only about what is working in each other's cases but also how to handle stress and how to write their stories, I thought this guest speaker would be interesting. I have attached her promotional materials created for this event, which includes the following from Gabrielle:
My class is a completely supportive, safe place for people to explore their deep thoughts, feelings, and opinions via writing. Writing can be used as a tool for healing emotional hurts, as well as a tool for reaching others.
We will explore our inner worlds through self-expression on the page -- to educate others about our cases, as well as for creative inspiration and exploration.
In this special workshop for homeowners, we will answer the questions:
How can we write and speak our stories succinctly and compellingly so that the courts and the media will listen?
How can we best handle the stress of intense litigation?
How should we behave and act in court?
The meeting may be extended for a half hour due to the length of her class, and depending on whether or not people have questions. As usual, the last part of the meeting will be for people in attendance to discuss what is happening in their cases and to get support from one another.
