ENTITLED HOTEL MANAGER THOUGHT MY MOM WAS A MAID – HIS BOSS TOOK REVENGE ON OUR BEHALF.
Right after I got my PhD., I rushed to my mom and without warning, I took her to celebrate at a restaurant, When I met her, she was doing gardening work at our cottage and did not bother to change.
While my mom parked the car, I went in and the manager (M) came up to me:
ME: "I'd like a table for two."
M: "Sure, miss."
At that moment, my mom entered too and came up to us:
M: (rudely looking her up and down) "The entry for maids is from the BACK."
HER: "EXCUSE ME?"
M: (saying it syllable by syllable) "BE-HIND. God, you don't even speak English?"
I started FUMING. But before my mom or I could say something, a man in a suit came up to us.

MY HUSBAND, WHO EARNS LESS THAN ME, FORCED ME TO TAKE A SECOND JOB — SO I CHOSE ONE THAT WOULD TEACH HIM A LESSON.
So, in our family, I'm the one who makes more money! But my work schedule is way tougher. I work from 8 AM to 7 PM with only two days off. Meanwhile, my husband is a mechanic. His job is hard, but he gets 3-4 days off a week.
Recently, when we decided we wanted to upgrade our car and buy a new one, he told me I needed to get a SECOND JOB because my work is so easy and I don't get as tired as he does (I work remotely from home).
I asked him why he didn't want to find a second job, and he said, "Because then I'd miss bowling with my friends!" SERIOUSLY!?
Well, fine! He wanted me to find a second job? Fine, I found one, but I wasn't sure HE'D LIKE IT.

I RETURNED HOME AFTER GIVING BIRTH TO FIND MY BABY'S ROOM REPAINTED BLACK – MY MIL REGRETTED THIS BIG TIME

I just gave birth to my baby girl, Amelia, two weeks ago. My husband, Tim, and I had been excited for months, and we created the perfect nursery—soft pink walls, white furniture, cute animals, the works. I couldn't wait to bring our daughter home after a difficult C-section.

Well, that excitement died the second I opened the nursery door. MY HEART STOPPED.

MY PARENTS MOVED MY BROTHER INTO MY HOUSE WHILE I WAS ON VACATION — A WEEK LATER, HE WAS BEGGING TO LEAVE.
My older brother, Ted (42M), has been a burden for years. He refuses to work, freeloads off my parents, drinks all day, and takes zero responsibility. He also has two kids with two different women, neither of whom he supports.
Despite this, my parents coddle him, treating him like he can do no wrong. Meanwhile, I pursued a career in biology, which they saw as a dead-end. They ignored me for years until I became successful through AI research and bought my dream house last month. Suddenly, they were all over me, insisting I let Ted move in because it was my "turn" to take care of him.
I politely refused.
But when my wife and I returned from vacation two weeks ago, I found Ted living in my house, his stuff everywhere—beer cans, dirty clothes, old furniture. He was lounging on my couch like he owned the place.

New neighbor Meghan moves in, and the moment she finds out I'm a stay-at-home mom, she starts dropping her 4-year-old, Lily, off constantly. MY DIL DEMANDED I BABYSIT MY GRANDKIDS ON MY LONG-AWAITED VACATION WITHOUT EVEN ASKING ME – I TAUGHT HER A LESSON ABOUT RESPECT.
Finally, after two years of working and babysitting my grandkids three hours a day and many backaches and joint issues, I took my vacation!
I bought tickets to the Bahamas and left. For two days, I had massages, long beach walks, and enjoyed the sunsets!
But suddenly, I got a message from my DIL,
"George is on his business trip, my parents have house repairs, and I'm going on my retreat. And you know what? It's in the Bahamas!! Isn't it amazing? We're already boarding, I need you to watch the kiddos!"
So, her parents had repairs, and I had a vacation, but I had to babysit the kids? I was MAD AS HELL and wasn't ready to give up so easily.
