Learn to Discern India Academy is funded by the U.S. Embassy, New Delhi, and implemented by IREX." Learn to Discern India Academy (L2D-IA) will deliver four English-language Media Literacy Courses for India’s next generation of leaders across five cities in India: New Delhi, Chennai, Hyderabad, Kolkata, and Mumbai.

🟢PROGRAM FORMAT:
☑The L2D-IA program comprises four courses that will be delivere

d using a hybrid approach with L2D-IA Master Trainers, and independent learning on Canvas LMS. Additionally, participants will attend one in-person session at the end of each course at the American Spaces in their respective cities.

🟢DURATION AND SCOPE
☑ Cohorts begin at the end of May and continue through September 2023.
☑ Participants will complete one course per month.
☑ Each course includes independent learning, 3 online sessions, and 1 in-person session.
☑ Participants will complete micro-projects for each of the four courses. L2D-IA is funded by the U.S. Embassy New Delhi and implemented by IREX.

Learn to Discern is a media literacy and youth leadership program. In our second year in India, we are seeking self-motivated and passionate YOUTH TRAINERS FOR CHANGE (YTCs) who are ready to become community leaders and forces of positive change.

This program empowers young leaders to build media literacy, critical thinking, communication, and leadership skills to create a lasting impact in their communities.
