With two sets of twins our lives are full of a lot of ups and downs but we always make the best out of it.

Traveling across the country with two sets of twins and a bulldog isn’t the easiest. We’ve had car trouble, hit some really bad weather, and I lost Joey in North Carolina (he’s my teddy bear that I’ve slept with every night for like 35 years). But we’ve gotten to see friends and family and have made some lasting memories!

🎶Going Back To Cali🎶
We’re leaving Virginia and headed on a long road trip all the way back to Cali! This will surely be an adventure for the books, especially because we don’t even have a house to live it when we finally get there😹 But, like always, we’ll figure it out and have fun along the way 🥰

I am putting together 4 different books (photo albums) with all my recipes. One for me and one for each of the girls to have one day. The cover of each book will have a photo. Mines will have them all together and theirs will have a photo of themselves. These are the photos🩷👩🏽‍🍳

Let me tell y’all, I miss the sun and the water park! This morning it was 18 degrees and Pancakes outside water was frozen! Time to pull out the parkas!

Thanks for the gorgeous 8 ft king flocked tree! It goes amazingly with all of our other decorations.

I was a young woman, then a wife, then a mother and a wife. I lost myself at some point, then I found a new version of me. But then I lost it again😢
Now, I’m finding a new new version of me. The version that is a wife, mama, and a woman putting herself first (sometimes).
I’m putting myself, my health, and wants at the top of the list now! I’m confident in who I am and where I’m going in life.
Thank you to everyone that has reached out after seeing my stories and had kind words and uplifting thoughts about my journey ❤️

I just realized I never shared Coco and Yaya’s cap and gown photos from pre-k! And since y’all have watched them go from newborns to kindergartners, I think it’s only fair I share this huge milestone with you!
And here’s an update on how kindergarten is going for them. Y’all know Yaya was not happy about starting kindergarten but she loves it now. And one of her friends from pre-k even sits at her table with her now! Coco is still happy about kindergarten and loves her teacher!

First day of first grade!
Funny story, we were at Kings Dominion (an amusement park) standing in line. There was a boy with his mom behind us. He was super outgoing and talking to everyone. He asked me, why do they have the same face but different clothes😹 I said… well, they’re twins. Which really doesn’t mean anything because Coco and Yaya look nothing alike. But I didn’t have an answer to the question and he had a good point. They do kinda have the same face😹

There are two types of kids😹
Now this is the strange thing about them. On camera and around us Coco is outgoing and sassy. She’s excited about going to school but once she gets there she’s quiet and hangs around Yaya most of the time. Yaya on the other hand hates going to school but once she’s settled she’s friends with everyone.
This just goes to show, not all twins have similar personalities.

How was this 5 years ago?
I look back and think, wow it was easier back when they were all little. I just had to make bottles and change diapers.
But what I’m forgetting is how I was in survival mode. I never slept, the only way I had a hot meal is if I ate it out of a bag in the car on the way home. We were alone in California, my husband left for work at 5 am and got home around 6 pm. He was working on his Masters degree then so it was pretty much, school, food, then sleep for him. I changed about 12 diaper’s before noon, never watched tv or got to read…. But, if I could go back for an hour to hold them, smell them, kiss them, as small babies… I would.

One of our favorite things to do this summer is go to the dog park! I wish it was closer, if it was we’d go everyday❤️ but then I probably wouldn’t get much accomplished at home😹

Parents can be over stimulated, too! I definitely was, but going to the float spa and laying in the sensory deprivation tank really helped me center my energy and just relax me. Y’all‼️ When I tell you life is hectic with TWO sets of twins a year apart… I mean it! I get up to an alarm 7 days a week! And once it goes off I am on GOOOOO🏃🏽‍♀️There is ALWAYS something to do or clean or somewhere to go or someone to pick up or drop off. There’s almost never a minute to just sit down. Even when I’m watching tv I’m clean the kitchen, doing the dishes, cooking, or editing or filming. I’m not complaining because I prayed for many years to be where I am today. But… just know, it may look easy but it’s not always easy.
