The Feminist Leadership Formula
Do you wonder what your future holds for you? What role do you play in creating it? What is your purpose?
Tonight we had Dominique Narciso, a high performance coach and author of "Live your new story,"
come give truly inspirational words about envisioning your future!
Some quotes I loved from her:
We have to shape and shift the world that we live in.
You can’t just think about your purpose, you need to activate it.
How can I think, feel, and act differently in order to be a better version of who I am?
You cannot be impactful and influential if you are not visible.
We are all searching and looking for that different kind of leadership - but it doesn’t exist in the mainstream and we are all creating that together.
That's what I set out to do in starting the The Women's Leadership Challenge and in all of the training and speaking I do around leadership - to ideate and envision and create that new style of leadership that fosters positive impact on the world.
Take a moment to imagine your future self one year from now. Will you be standing in your power, leading with confidence, and creating the impact you know you’re capable of? Or will you still be waiting, wishing you had taken the leap and joined The Women's Leadership Challenge?
As Joseph Campbell says,
“The cave you fear to enter holds the treasure that you seek.”
This is your time to rise. The world is waiting for you - and the time is NOW. We need every woman to step into her power as a feminist leader.
Applications for the next cohorts close January 31, and I likely won't run cohorts again until 2026.
We have a few spots left, and I want to invite you to join us now. The door is open. All you have to do is walk through it.

The Feminist Leadership Formula
Step into your power and craft your authentic leadership style to expand your impact in 2025 with Samantha Karlin and a host of inspiring women speakers.
How do you create change both in society and in your personal life?
Today in the Feminist Leadership Formula we spoke all about change -
How do you create change both in society and in your personal life?
I unveiled Empower Global's 10 step propietary change model that has proven to be highly effective in both the corporate space and in social change movements.
We also heard from the incredible Lesley Richards
, who has 15+ years of experience in gender integration in electoral processes, democracy building, and human rights - she was formerly Democracy International's Deputy Chief of Party in Bangladesh.
Some takeaways from Lesley on getting more women in office, and increasing women's political participation in Bangladesh, that are widely applicable to the US.
Establish a full roadmap to promote women's political participation
1. Provide lists of potential women candidates
2. Provide funding for women candidates
3. Engage male allies
4. Conduct study circles with women
5. Create a women's unit in the election management body
6. Create a hotline that women can call on election day and get help if they are experiencing violence that is preventing them from exercising their voice.
7. Provide funding for security for women candidates and women in office
8. When having PSAs around civic education, have women narrators and those with disabilities
9. Provide gender sensitive training for journalists - so they focus on women political candidates policy positions instead of their hairdo, as one example
So much on the ground wisdom here!

The liberation of Syria: what happens now?
After over a decade of civil war, 50 years of oppressive rule by the Assad family, and a refugee crisis sending 6+ million people fleeing over the border, Syria has been liberated. How did the regime finally fall? Who is Abu Mohammad al-Jolani and are his peaceful intentions true? What was the role of women in taking down the regime and what does the future hold for them under new governance? What is the role of Syrian female leaders moving forward? What can the US do to help Syria rebuild?
Tune into Monday night’s episode of Samanthropolitics to hear from Syrian born Rasha Elaas, the editorial director of New Lines Magazine, who was undercover as a journalist for Reuters in Syria throughout the war.
Best,
Samantha Karlin, MALD
