Braker Bros Outdoor Media
Over the past few years, we’ve been lucky enough to work with some of the most amazing organizations in the outdoor and environmental industries; we’ve been able to showcase our work on the big screen in over 800 theaters across the globe, and have even had the unique privilege of growing our own audience along the way.
•
A big part of us feels reluctant to play the algorithmic game and contribute to the mindless stream of content dominating modern social media, but we like to convince ourselves that we are creating content for good.
•
In all of our films, client work, and social posts, sustainability is at the heart. Our stories revolve around a shared love for nature grounded in the belief that “we cannot protect something we do not love, we cannot love what we do not know, and we cannot know what we do not see.”
•
All that being said, we wanted to say thank you to those of you who have been following along with our journey and to extend an invitation to those who are seeing us for the first time. We can’t tell you how much we would appreciate your support and feedback as we continue to grow our community and share projects that ignite a burning passion to protect what we love.

This species is without a doubt the Chesapeake Bay’s most iconic fish in our minds. 🎣• Striped bass - also known as rockfish - have been one of the most popular recreational and commercial fish in the Chesapeake for decades. Through management and conservation efforts, the population had a massive bounceback from a severe decline in the 1970s and 1980s, but we are unfortunately seeing the population well below optimal levels yet again. • If you have the pleasure of chasing these beautiful fish like we do, it’s important to keep the state of the fishery in mind. There’s countless ways to target these fish in a more sustainable manner like practicing catch and release, following limits and regs, handling the fish carefully, and educating others just to name a few. Follow if you also want to conserve our amazing fisheries!•#fisherman #fish #fishing #flyfishing #fishingdaily #conservation #outdoors #fishingtrip #flyfishinglife
Here’s a recent video we created for Flylords Snakehead are a critter of extremes; to some they're much-maligned but to others they're practically worshiped. If you're the type that appreciates a hard-fighting, good-eating fish and can handle a few snags along the way, well - you'll fit right in at Sunday service. Some recent work for the fellas over at @flylords. Keep your eyes peeled for more.#snakehead #sightfishing #flyfishing #chooseyournature #builtforthewild
What are your thoughts on this decision?• An emergency action for Atlantic striped bass was implemented, establishing a 31-inch maximum size limit for striped bass recreational fisheries. This regulation is effective immediately and for at least 180 days• The issue of striped bass management is far from simple and as individuals who both understand the importance of prioritizing the health of our large breeding fish and also do not directly depend on the fishery for our livelihood, we do not envy the experts at the top who need to make these decisions.• Although we were not thrilled with the Chesapeake Trophy season being excluded in this announcement, the board’s conservation-minded action is a massive step in the right direction, and it was made possible by the voices of countless guides, brands, and anglers who spoke up for the health of the fish.•#stripedbass #fishing #fishinglife #fishingaddict #flyfishing #flyfishingnation #conservation #fisheriesmanagement #bassfishing #bassfishingnation #outdoors
The Preserve What You Love Podcast is a brand-new short-form show that highlights the intersection of passion and conservation. Presented by @wise_river and hosted by the @brakerbros, the show is based on the concept that we will not conserve what we don’t love, and we will not love what we don’t understand. Our goal is to elevate our guests and learn how they work on a daily basis to preserve the activities that they love. #PreserveWhatYouLove

There are just under 10 days left of our Indiegogo campaign for our conservation film, Apache Puma!
This short film puts our audience in the action, tracking and collaring mountain lions in one of the last great American wilderness areas.
This February, we head back to finish our film… and we need your help.
If you’ve already contributed to the project, we really can’t thank you enough. Every dollar counts, and if you don’t feel comfortable donating, sharing this video is just as powerful!

With a brand new LLC, logo, and website, we figured it was time for an announcement. We’ve got some exciting projects on the horizon and wanted to take the time to dial in our branding before we reveal them. Go check out the new Braker Bros website, and let us know what you think!

Over the last year, we’ve embedded ourselves with a crew of conservationists, biologists, hunters, and veterinarians to document their efforts protecting the southwest’s remaining mountain lions.
•
So far, we’ve been self-funding this passion project. We’re beyond grateful to the many friends that have volunteered their time and expertise to get us this far. But, as we enter this final phase, we’re asking for your help to get us over the finish line. We truly believe that this story needs to be told, and in order to tell it in the right way, we’ve decided to take a crowdfunding approach to help raise the money for our production budget…
•
We truly can’t say how much we would appreciate a donation through the Indiegogo page below. If a donation isn’t in the cards right now, sharing this trailer and our fundraising page is the next best thing!
