Private Pesticide Applicator Training
The Morgan County Cattlemen’s Association will sponsor training given by Morgan County UT Extension on Tuesday, Jan. 6, for initial and recertification for PRIVATE APPLICATOR. Training will be conducted at the American Legion Hall in Wartburg from 5:30-9 p.m. Recertification is free. There is a fee for initial certification. For more information, contact Josh Daughtery at 423-346-3000. Reservations for this training are not required.

DLARC Country Fried Steak Dinner
The Deer Lodge Abner Ross Center will hold a Country Fried Steak Dinner on Saturday, Jan. 3 from 11 a.m.-3 p.m. The meal will consist of country fried steak or hamburger steak, mashed potatoes, gravy, green beans, fresh baked roll, dessert and coffee or tea. The cost is $10 per person. Music will be provided by the Rugby Coronet Band and there will be a door prize. Delivery is available within a 5-mile radius of the Center. Please call 423-965-5000 before 10:30 a.m. for delivery. Drinks are not provided with deliveries. All proceeds go to pay utilities and upkeep of the Center. Everyone is welcome.
