Meet @lara_aman_mattey, one of our 2023 Women of Influence Award Winners from our inaugural class last fall. Lara is the Owner of @ivorytreeportraits, an award-winning photography studio.
Laura created Ivory Tree Portraits in Wayne and then opened a second location in Newtown during the pandemic. “It not only let me grow personally but enabled me to employ new team members at a time when small businesses were struggling to keep employees but it also enabled me to serve an entire new community,” she shared. Lara understands that being an entrepreneur can be isolating and difficult, which is one of the reasons why she finds it her mission to mentor others and pay it forward. Lara is proud of building a studio that supports and encourages her all-women team. Ivory Portrait boasts a 90% client return rate. She also mentors other small business owners, sharing her expertise in sales, marketing, and financial management.
From her nomination: “As the Studio Owner of Ivory Tree Portraits, she not only works hard to engage and support the larger Main Line and Bucks County communities by hosting Community Events and regular Charity Sessions, but most importantly for her passion and determination to make portraits, creating something that is truthful, genuine, and representative of the beauty and diversity among us. Being part of Lara’s effort to protect and embrace the true and real in all of us is unique and important in this world full of filters and AI. I applaud her and feel honored to work with her! She’s the real deal – she walks her talk!” - Donna Uettwiller
As we prepare for our 2024 Women of Influence Luncheons on September 25th at @terrain_devonyard and October 15th at @terrain_delval in Doylestown, we are excited to host our 2nd annual gatherings of dynamic local women like Lara, who are eager to connect and uplift each other.

Meet Brittany Gianfagna, one of our Women of Influence Award Winners from our inaugural class last fall. Brittany is a licensed professional counselor, founder, and owner of BAF Therapy Services LLC.
Brittany created her own private practice in 2018, during her maternity leave, as a way to continue giving her clients the best care while also keeping her family her top priority. “ I couldn’t be happier with the practice I’ve developed for myself, my family, and my clients. I’m incredibly grateful for the rapport I’ve created with my clients, and the time I’m able to be present as a mother for my two children is immeasurable,” says Brittany. As a therapist, it has been her mission to provide a safe space for children, adolescents, and women to be heard, valued, and inspired through our therapeutic rapport. Whether it’s through her counseling sessions, her writing, or her everyday interactions, Brittany exudes a genuine desire to uplift others and help them discover their inner strength.
Do you know a woman who is reshaping culture for good in her neighborhood, business, or nonprofit organization? You can read more about Brittany and nominate someone who deserves recognition for a 2024 Women of Influence Award at buckscountyparent.com/women.
