💯 March is and also , so author would like to tell you about a couple important people who inspired him.

🎨 First is his Grandma Kubisiak (1927-2021), who passed away last year at the age of 94. In her 50s, after her seven children were grown, so took up painting, and got quite good at it. Blake has one of her oil paintings in his office and credits her with giving him the creative bug.

🌊🐉The other is author Ursula K. le Guin (1929–2018). She’s published more than 100 short stories and over 20 books, mostly in the science fiction and speculative fiction genres. Blake found A Wizard of Earthsea when his desire to be a writer was just a far-fetched dream, and he credits le Guin’s stories in giving him the inspiration and motivation to turn that dream into a reality.
