Happy International Day of the Girl!!

This little girl is me. Proud + happy as a clam to be up in a tree. 🌳

In this pic I’m in my PJs. I’d been couch bound all day not feeling well. When I found out my mom let my brother climb the tree (something we often weren’t allowed to do) I went nuts crying until I was allowed to do it too. Because fair is fair and if boys can do it, so can I. 😄

At this age (6 ish) I was debating between being a lawyer or a doctor when I grew up. I ended up combining my passion for both areas. Today I manage and advise my clients on business growth and represent them online + I fix any impairments hindering them from hitting their business goals. I own a marketing agency!!

I love what I do. I never thought I’d be a business owner but wouldn’t change it for the world.

I’m posting this as part of and their campaign to incentivize women role models to talk more about what they do and the opportunities available to girls everywhere!!

We don’t talk about careers and business ownership options with girls like we do boys and it needs to change.

Stats show 70% of girls feel differently about their futures after hearing from women role models*!

Ready to grow??

Coming in 🌶️ with some tips to grow + scale your biz by the end of 2024!

1- Keep the conversation going!!
Invite a few people from that networking event to have a one on one. Keep the people who passed on packages or service in your community (newsletters, reach out, info share) Don’t hesitate to reach out. You never know when they or someone they know will be ready to take action.

2- Manage your mindset!!
People sense your emotions and energy. If your vibe is Debbie Downer it will impact how they feel about you + your business. DM “Activate” for my how too tool.

3- Plan your progress!!
You can’t drive a car without knowing your destination. Business is the same. Set those goals and keep them in mind as you build + market your business. Don’t think make more money. Think have 6 clients paying me $5k a month.

4- Priority you!
As we build our businesses we tend to pull our foot off the marketing gas pedal. 🛑 STOP IT! Manage your tasks + time so you are doing client work and working on your business otherwise your progress will stall. Guaranteed.

5- Shake off the Shoulds!!
Stop shoulding all over your business. Trends are just that— a flick of the moment thing. Double down on what works for you and don’t worry about what others are doing. Your business is unique as is your marketing message!
