I have recently repaired and restored a Christening Gown for a customer. We think the gown was hand sewn by someone in her family in the early '50's. It was a beautiful very delicate gown that time had weakened the fabric and threads. A tear in the front, and several small holes needed repair.

These sweet little monogramed dresses for the twin granddaughters of a very dear former coworker. She is a brand new GiGi!! They were created with cotton white clip dot fabric, and white cotton lining. Accented with delicate aqua embroidery ,silk ribbons, and cotton lace. Cant wait to see pictures.

Their Grandma and Great Grandma are farm girls. I was happy to find this precious print in a ad in Classic Sewing Magazine. Cute little farm animals and puppies frolic across this print, and has coordinating panties and colar.

These are photos of the restoration of a very old christening gown for a family in Charlotte. It was fragile with some dry rot holes. It was not easy, but I transformed it to a gown that can be used for a few more generations. It also included a matching full length slip. Photos not in the best order.
