في صحيح البخاري عن ابن عباس رضي الله عنهما عن النبي أنه قال: من بدل دينه فاقتلوه وفي الصحيحين عن معاذ أنه قال لمرتد رآه عند أبي موسى الأشعري في اليمن: لا أنزل -يعني من دابته- حتى يقتل قضاء الله ورسوله والأدلة في هذا كثيرة، وقد أوضحها أهل العلم في باب حكم المرتد في جميع المذاهب الأربعة.
