THE MELROSE 12-year-old All-Stars are off to the Massachusetts Final Four. Melrose played Acton-Boxboro on Thursday and will meet either Pittsfield or Bridgewater on Friday. Two of the Final Four teams will make it to the state championship game, which will take place on Sunday at 11 a.m. All Final Four games will take place at Deyermond Park in Andover. THE MELROSE 12-year-old Williamsport All-Stars beat Somerville 4-0 last Friday at Lewis Monk Field to win the District 12 Championship. Melrose competed in the Section 3 Tournament at Sacramone Field in Everett this week against Needham and Parkway.
